“Run, don’t walk, to Motor City Pizza. We ended up here by accident last weekend, after the restaurant we were going to was unexpectedly closed. This was the next closest non chain pizza place we could find so we decided to give it a try and we were SO glad we did. We sat at the bar. The bartender (I think his name was Brad) was friendly and personable and made some fabulous menu suggestions. We started with the potato chip chicken strips. They were fantastic. The seasoning in the batter was spot on, and they were piping hot and perfectly crispy. I ordered the Maurice salad, something I had never heard of. It was a very busy salad, lots of different flavors going on, but I am here to tell you it was one of the best salads I have ever had in my life. I am already trying to figure out when I can go back and order it again. Hubs got pizza, half Texas sweet heat and half mobster. Definitely one of the best pizzas we’ve ever had, you could tell they use top notch ingredients. It’s rare we have such a great experience entirely “by accident”. We can’t wait to go back! Maybe next time I’ll remember to get pictures :)“

My bartender Valerie was amazing super friendly, talkative, and made really good drinks. Exactly what we look for when we go out for drinks. Service was outstanding! “Recently I had a surprise birthday party for my wife Mary. Owners Mike his wife Ruby son Bes and daughter-in-law Red made the occasion truly a night to remember! They have a beautiful private room in the back of the restaurant and all the food that was prepared was excellent! The Service was first rate. They were very accommodating in letting my friends and Family decorate for the party. The bartender is a fine young man named Steven who is so respectful and helpful, a true asset to the establishment! My wife and I dine at Genti's often and have tried many different dishes and never disappointed! This is a true gem in the area and would highly recommend whether having a wonderful Dinner in the restaurant, having a party or ordering take out. You will truly enjoy!!“

“Have ordered from here a few times over the years. We like the variety and the flavor of the sandwiches, but the desserts are sickeningly sweet. The chocolate chip cookie has so much sugar that it just tastes like vanilla syrup and you can't taste the chocolate at all. I threw mine out after one bite.“

Then the fun began, they were doing a cooking with Casper (chef) that we were not involved in, I asked Casper about the blueberry mouse, I do not like mashed fruit, Casper brought us some and then a whole plate of different desserts. We ordered our food, I got the brussel sprouts, my friend got the fig flat bread, both were delicious. We were then treated to scones and biscuits they made in the cooking class. “Love the atmosphere, love the food, love the service. Salsa Tex is just a fast paced local Tex Mex Restaurant but the food is very good. The margaritas are excellent as well. There are waits to get a table after 6:00 but typically less than 20-30 minutes.“
