“A friend gifted us with a certificate for Mario’s. We had not tried it out yet, so thought this was the perfect time to do so. I’m so glad we did! Their fajitas, tamales, cheese enchiladas, and queso were delicious! Charro beans were loaded with flavor and the rice and refried beans were pretty typical for a Mexican restaurant in East Texas. Not bad at all. We will definitely be back!“

“We ate at the Palestine, TX restaurant tonight. Jimmy was our waiter. He did a great job. The cook was definitely on point, too. Other servers seemed to be attentive to their tables. We hadn’t been in a long time b/c the service had been so bad before. Not sure if there is a new manager; there definitely has been a change for the better.“

“I enjoy having so many choices, getting to try things I have not tried before... this place is great... we got there when they first opened everything was fresh and hot... as with most places these days the staff is not very friendly not the food is great... we have gone in at diffrent times of the day... they have always been accommodating if the food is to cold or is too hard from sitting out... I enjoy looking at the decor“

“The restaurant needs a full remodel. It’s old and falling apart. Some of it is just gross. It’s in desperate need of the update.
That being said the food and service has been very good. 👍 Tuesday steak night is great. Prices are reasonable and the food was fresh.“
