“A friend gifted us with a certificate for Mario’s. We had not tried it out yet, so thought this was the perfect time to do so. I’m so glad we did! Their fajitas, tamales, cheese enchiladas, and queso were delicious! Charro beans were loaded with flavor and the rice and refried beans were pretty typical for a Mexican restaurant in East Texas. Not bad at all. We will definitely be back!“

“We ate at the Palestine, TX restaurant tonight. Jimmy was our waiter. He did a great job. The cook was definitely on point, too. Other servers seemed to be attentive to their tables. We hadn’t been in a long time b/c the service had been so bad before. Not sure if there is a new manager; there definitely has been a change for the better.“

“King Buffet is one of my favorite places to eat! The food is always hot, fresh, and delicious with a great variety to choose from — everything from sushi and seafood to classic Chinese dishes and desserts. The staff are friendly, quick to refill drinks, and keep the buffet area clean and well-stocked. The restaurant is spacious and comfortable, perfect for families or groups. Great food, great service, and great value — highly recommend King Buffet! 🍤🍜🥢“

“The restaurant needs a full remodel. It’s old and falling apart. Some of it is just gross. It’s in desperate need of the update.
That being said the food and service has been very good. 👍 Tuesday steak night is great. Prices are reasonable and the food was fresh.“

“We've been eating at the Birds Egg Cafe for years. It's a very special place where great country style cooking, & down home atmosphere makes you feel right at home. Wonderful friendly staff as well. We highly recommend it.“
