“I first stopped by here on a whim due to the other Thai Jasmine near Almeda unfortunately closing down… was not disappointed. The food here is always good and service is always great. Cozy environment great for family or friends gatherings. I ordered the eggplant beef, spicy fish, chicken pad Thai, with beef paenang curry, and the jasmine wings as appetizers thinking I could finish everything but got full after finishing the appetizers … everything was really good though and would definitely come by again! “I had a friend visiting from out of town, and I wanted to find a nice elevated dining place in Clear Lake. Luckily, I found Masa! To summarize my review before it begins, Masa is now my destination if I am craving sushi and Japanese food. The atmosphere was elegant, which makes it stand out from other surrounding sushi restaurants. We started off with cold sake and Ahi Poké Nachos, which were crispy and delicious. My friend and I split Sushi Combo C, which features 20 pieces of assorted sushi with California and Spicy Tuna rolls. The sushi was very fresh and skillfully made. The Tamago was freshly made with the traditional chopstick method. This was the best sushi I have had since I dined at Nobu in Las Vegas. Our companions had the chicken katsu Bento Boxes because they wanted an assortment of things to try. The tempura battered shrimp and vegetables were lightly crunchy and delicate. After dinner, the four of us had a round of Ninja Drop martinis, which were tangy and sweet. The owner, Michael Zhou (pronounced "zjoe"), came over to say hi. He encouraged us to try one of his favorite items, the Ahi Tuna Tartare, which was spectacular. To finish, we had a couple of bottles of hot sake alongside some yummy mochi ice cream. Our experience was amazing. Our server, Jordan, took great care of us, and we all had a great time. I was looking for an elevated experience, and I got exactly what I was looking for and more. I can't wait to eat here again and try other things on the amazing menu!“

First I came here had the vegetable soup. I'm so happy that I came here. The broth and veggies were amazing and a very fresh taste.
There were mushrooms, zucchini, carrots, scallions and more veggies. It's definitely was a vegan option and barely tasted the sodium.

“I ordered the regular beef pho and a chicken spring roll as part of their lunch combo. There’s a lot more broth to noodle ratio which I prefer more. The broth has more flavor than other pho restaurants I’ve been to so it’s even better in my opinion. Since it’s my first time I can’t say the consistency of the dishes but I would believe it is. Service was a little slow but honestly I’m in no rush, the people were very nice though! Definitely will come back here again.“

“Had this delivered so I am not sure about the restaurant. The meals and soups were a nice portion. The Beef and Bell pepper was great. Sesame Chicken was bland but not bad. Wonton soup has shredded cabbage but not a real strong flavor. Egg drop soup wasn’t bad. Fried rice has a great smoky flavor. Overall, we enjoyed the meal and it was reasonably priced.“

“Came here for the first time yesterday afternoon and the food was delicious and the staff is very polite and welcoming. I tried the beef udon which has great flavor and the sushi tasted great. I highly recommend this place for great tasting Japanese food. I will be be back again!“
