My family have been coming to Rio Grande since it opened in Pflugerville. The food has always been amazing, as well as the drinks. The staff has been like family, and we'll be sad when it is closed.

Rio Grande Tex-Mex offers excellent enchilada lunch specials with flavorful charro beans and tender beef, topped with cheddar and jack cheeses. The Modelo Michalada and chips with salsa appetizers are a hit with customers. While the food quality remains impressive, some feel the service has declined under new management. Despite occasional misses like cold fajitas and watered-down margaritas, the friendly staff and inviting ambiance make it a worthwhile dining experience.
