“It’s a freaking great time every time I’ve gone.. staff is friendly, but sometimes super busy. The food is good a bit pricey but worth it.. the game options are good and they always ask if you need left handed clubs.. I don’t drink so can’t offer an option..“

“This is one of our favorite restaurants in McAllen! Great atmosphere, delicious food, and excellent service. Our favorite waiter Erika is always attentive, knows what we like and how we like our food, never have an empty glass of our drink. “Walked over to this restaurant from our nearby hotel and glad we did! Everything was more than we expected! Even had a pianist providing background music for our experience. Crab cakes best we’ve ever had, scallops melted in our mouth and the orange roughy baked in clay was so full of flavour. Waitress was so friendly and informative after we told her this was our first time!“

“Their food and service is top tier. Only reason it’s a 4 star and not a 5 star is that my favorite item was removed. Their beyond burger was the best and I was glad to finally have a nice place to eat out that offered a great option for me. I know they replaced it with a veggie burger but it’s not even close to being what the beyond burger was. I’ve tried some of the other vegan options but nothing could compare. Another thing is that at peak time between all the people and the loud music it can be very hard to hear both the people you’re with and the server. However that being said food was always fantastic and service was amazing.Vegetarian options: They have a lot to offer for vegetarians and have clearly labeled menus for restrictions. Same for vegans we are capable of having a good meal here. I will say however their normal buns are not vegan so you have to sub out for their gluten free one which is not the greatest so I’d recommend bringing a bun if you want a better bun option.Dietary restrictions: They have a very detailed area warning of common allergens and have separate menus for vegans/vegetarians/gluten free people.“

“Went with a friend on the recommendation of another friend. She did not steer us wrong. Both of us had the filet but substituted a different side than listed. Steak was cooked perfectly. Brussel sprouts were great. Though the dessert menu was appealing there was not room left to indulge.“

“Another AMAZING visit to University Draft House in Edinburg. Our server Angel was on point with his beer suggestions. Manager Matt was working the floor helping his team. These guys made a huge impact in our dining experience. I think we all know the valley is not known for good service but these guys make you feel like you're in a big city with their red carpet treatment. When you go in make sure to joke and have a good time with them. They're a lively group. They have live bands and an energetic environment.“

“First time there and I'll definitely come back. Erick waited on us and he was awesome. We were outdoors. I had the fettuccine with chicken and it was very good. Reasonably priced and good portions. I want to try the Salmon Wellington next time. We spent a little over $50 per person because we ordered a lot of cocktails.“

“What a nice lunch we had at Paula's Tea House. It is a hidden gem that you would probably miss if you didn't know it was there. The sign outside just says Paula's, about 5 inches high by 14 inches wide. The yard in front of this old house is decorated with so many old things it was hard to find the sign. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They had a large menu but rotated what was available that day. The different rooms were each decorated with old tea sets, clothing, hats, and toys. I would recommend their tacos.“

“We booked their Elote Stand for our wedding and it was one of the best decisions we made! Our guests LOVED it and the corn was delicious! So many neat toppings to choose from and friendly service from the team that served the cups. It was a lot of our guests first experience with elote and the team provided recommendations for our guests as they created their cups! Great service, clean practices and very cute stand with fair pricing! Smooth experience from booking to the end of the event. Can’t wait to use them again in the future!“

“Went a few weeks ago for the first time and had a great experience. I’d definitely ask for Cristian as your server if you go. My Husband and I have been to plenty of high end restaurants throughout Texas, and have never had a better server than Cristian. He knows the menu, kept our drinks filled and provided the best service we have ever received at any other Restaurant! He also recommended the southern shrimp as an appetizer which was amazing! Food was good, definitely worth the price! My Husband and I will be going back soon! Overall glad to finally have a restaurant like this in Edinburg“

“My friend and I came to Bodega today to try out their brunch menu. They’ve changed their selections since the last time I came, and everything they offered looked so good, it was hard to choose! Luckily, our server, Nathan, gave excellent recommendations for apps, meals, and even dessert! We started with some of their oysters, enjoyed our meals, and finished off with the crème brûlée for dessert. I can’t stress how delicious that crème brûlée was; I’m already craving it again! We had an absolutely wonderful time, everything was perfection! :)“

“Fernando was the absolute best!! He took care of us and made sure we had a great night. The live music was a huge plus. We do not drink alcohol, but I was pleasantly surprised by how awesome their non alcoholic drink menu was. We both got steak dishes that were cooked to perfection. Save room for dessert, you won’t be disappointed!“

“I try to come to the jazz event stuff. It's really nice listening to the live music in the outside area. The burgers we had here were great. The chips with cheese on the other hand weren't that good. I wouldn't get those again for sure. Last time we were here I got a fly in my beer still full glass. And the manager said that if I wanted a new one, that I would have to pay for a new one. Which dulled the experience a bit not gonna lie but the server was so nice for giving us coasters to cover the drinks after that. That was pretty sweet of her. Her service was the best.“

“We ordered the following from the menu. The brisket sandwich came with onion rings and a salad. I give it 10 stars, best meal. We ordered a baked potato on the side OMG best ever, super delicious. My husband ordered the fajita tacos. They were so juicy, and tender on flour tortillas was the best with a street corn on the side is also the best. For being the first time here, it is so good but pricey but delicious and worth every dollar.“

“Relaxed atmosphere, no loud music. Awesome and attentive service. We tried their house drinks and they did not disappoint. The Butterfly Effect (my favorite) and Tequila Mockingbird are nice, sweet drinks and the Old Fashioned is tops. The Ribs were great and the Bugsy burger was amazing. For dessert, we tried the Cappuccino tartlet and French press coffee- both very good. Will definitely come back.“

“Super Clean! My friend recommended this place. The gentleman assisting me was very patient. I didn't feel intimidated as I viewed the menu to make my decision on what I wanted. I had a burger.
