“It's a Wed nite, 8pm, 3 tables and 3 people at bar, why did it take "forever" (~30 min) to get my food? Maybe they are low on staff.
It's advertised as a chicken restaurant. You would think they would have more variety in chicken selection.
I ordered Sir Mix Alot: fried wing, breast and thigh, biscuit and potato salad. Biscuit was very good. Potato salad was blah. They did well with the chicken, moist and tender. I'm impressed with the moistness and tenderness of the breast, that is difficult to do. The taste was good but didn't impress me.
I'd rather go to Popeye's. I like the taste better and I can order the pieces of chicken I want to eat.“

“Yum!!! I feel like I’m late to the party with a visit to this restaurant but we will be back and be back often. I have been craving plantains for months. I did a google search and BOOM Lilly’s Cafe was in our part of town.

We arrived on a Saturday at 9 am ish. Parking is awful, it’s in a strip mall and there's a coffee shop next door. We were greeted and seated right away. The restaurant was bright and clean with high ceilings, ample seating, several TVs and what appeared to be a fully stocked bar.

We ordered coffee and water. To our surprise they offered flavored creamer. BONUS!!! I selected the French toast platter with a side of PLANTAINS. My husband had the Haystack Signature offering with a side of black beans. There was so much food neither of us finished.

The only ding was the ladies restroom. The building is very old and while the restaurant received a makeover the bathrooms did not. A single women’s restroom with a coffee table for a “changing station” and non ADA compliance. The hallway, doorway and bathroom were all too small for a wheelchair. And they were out of TP.

Service was great and you can see they were working as a team. Menu was in English and Spanish. Food came out pretty fast and hot. Can’t wait to go back and try additional dishes (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and meals. Dessert offerings look amazing, including PLANTAINS and Crêpes.

Kid-friendliness: Kids menu. Noticed smiley faces on pancakes at the other table. Lots of space.“

“Visited for my son's 19th birthday. Felt like we were on vacation. Live music was great and definitely added to the vibe. The food was amazing. Definitely recommend the crab bisque, mai tai and piña colada cake. Definitely a spot for celebrating birthdays, etc. A little pricey, but again, we were celebrating. “My wife and I were staying the night at The Domain, and knew that Haywire had recently opened, so we decided to book a table for the evening. On entry, it’s obvious there’s a heavy Western theme. There’s cow hide on the chairs, some of the servers were in cowboy hats and wranglers, longhorn’s hung on the wall…the whole nine. The unusual thing about the décor, is that there’s also shelves holding bits of old technology, books and toys. The external black brick and shaded yellow accent lights is a color theme I like a lot….looks very slick. The overall look is slick, with a casual yet stylistic atmosphere with nice mood lighting. Anyways, on to the food! We started with the Crispy Pork Belly Bites…they were good. The sweet honey glaze, pickled fresnos and charred mandarins give it a sweet, tasty and smoky flavor. For my main, I had the bone-in cowboy ribeye with charred broccolini. I asked for medium rare, but it came out more medium and I wasn’t that keen on the broccolini. My wife went with the petite filet and tallow fries….the fries were really nice. We used to cook our “chips” in beef dripping back in the day as a kid in England, which is essentially what beef tallow is. I finished off with the Whiskey Bread Pudding, which is made with crossiants and topped with caramel sauce, cinnamon sugar and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. VERY NICE!!! Everything is sourced locally, too. Service was fast and friendly, so I can’t fault them there either. It’s not cheap, though. Price-wise, it’s between Paul Martin’s and Perry’s Steakhouse. Overall, we enjoyed our time there and will be back again.“

“My cousin and I visited the Cafe this morning for breakfast. Our waiter - Phillip - was amazing! However, the food this time was a little disappointing. My cousin ate her grits and I had the Frech Toast. We also had bacon and potatoes. The bacon was not cooked the way we wanted. A new order was made, but still not satisfactory. And it was very salty. So we did not eat the bacon. Normally the food is outstanding but today's visit was a little off.“

“We were fortunate enough to have my Dad’s retirement party here! It was a huge success! Sean was very easy to work with on the planning. It wasn’t complicated and we were in control of the process. We made a normal reservation, he gave us the menu and we were able to put together a budget. No contract, down payment, or minimums. Once we arrived to the venue everything was set-up for the party and the food was delicious. Sarah was the manager we worked with on site. She was so nice and accommodating. Madison and McKenzie were in charge of all of our tables for fifty people. They did not skip a beat with taking care of us I highly recommend for a party, night out, or any occasion. Plus it’s connected to a hotel. My overall impression The Shark Club is a fun and clean atmosphere. The staff was communicative, helpful, and the service was everything I needed and more. Food is amazing as well. Tacos, parmesan tots, and the lettuce wraps were a few of the favorites. Prices were also reasonable. Highly recommend and we will be back!“
