El Norte Grill offers great food for lunch and dinner. Customers enjoy the delicious homemade fresh chips and salsa, which many say are the best in DFW. The lunch burrito with the famous award winning blanco queso and Sunset Flautas remain popular choices. The service is quick and attentive, and the new daily Happy Hour is great with a margarita for $4.95. Many customers appreciate the gigantic plates that are reasonably priced. Everything is made from scratch and is delicious, making it a family favorite spot. The combo chicken and beef fajitas and lunch bowl are still highly praised, and the oversized crispy tacos are a favorite item. The restaurant has different daily specials for both margaritas and entres, including Sunday Sopapillas. The restaurant is older and the decor can be somewhat reflective of that, but many find it adds to the charm and the food is always really tasty.
