“Went in for lunch today and had an absolutely fantastic experience. Riyah, our waitress, was outstanding. She was attentive, friendly, and clearly pays close attention to the details that matter. At one point my taco actually came out wrong, but Riyah caught it before it ever made it to the table and had it fixed right away. That kind of attention and care says a lot about the level of service she provides. We also had a great conversation with her, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Service like that is hard to find. We’ll definitely be back, and we’ll be asking for Riyah!“

“I absolutely love this restaurant! Every time I come the food is just as fresh and good as it was the time before.
The servers are so nice, helpful and happy. I love the décor and the restaurants lay out. It is just an overall joy to have lunch or dinner at this place.
On this visit, I brought a friend who had never been before. We ordered the stuffed avocados, which never disappoint, and the brisket enchiladas. The brisket was so tender you could cut it with a fork.

After submitting feedback, General Manager reached out personally and promptly. He asked thoughtful follow-up questions — requesting a description of the server and our seating location so he could review camera footage and identify exactly what happened. That level of diligence stood out.

When I provided the details, he responded with transparency and acknowledged it as a coaching moment, and was candid. He offered to mail a gift card and was notably respectful about privacy.

On returning to the restaurant several months later (again at lunch time) we found the food excellent as the first time and significantly better service. The gift card had some difficulty but I would recommend this restaurant and the responsiveness of management at this location.

We stopped in for lunch on Sunday, and the food was genuinely fantastic—fresh salsa, flavorful sauces on the tacos, great guacamole, and the standout: fresh-made tortillas and chips. The patio was also perfect for a fall afternoon: comfortable temperature, not too loud, and overall a great setting for a meal. They have a great kids menu of fun options. We were greeted by the hostess and seated immediately. The restaurant was busy but not 100% full.

Unfortunately, the table service was inexcusable and overshadowed what could have been an excellent experience. Our waiter disappeared for nearly 30 minutes after taking our drink orders, only delivering water to half the table before vanishing again because he ”couldn’t take our order yet”. The bartender eventually had to go search for him because he never returned. After prompting by the other restaurant staff he took our food order. The food arrived quickly and hot (delivered by kitchen staff not waiter) but several dishes were incorrect from what we ordered. Nothing major but chicken quesadilla came out as only cheese, no mushrooms on another dish came out with mushrooms. The server never returned so we just ate what came, my son actually like it. At no point did the waiter come back to check on us, no refills on water, or offer a second round of drinks.

The table next to us didn’t get any of the fresh made chips and salsa, which were delicious, so we shared our generous helping of two bowls for 4 people with them. Afraid they missed out on the salsa though.

The kitchen deserves praise, but the front-of-house service was the worst I’ve experienced in a decade of living in Dallas. With many great Tex-Mex and Mexican fusion options in the area, I beg you to go somewhere else… anywhere… for a restaurant owner this is the stuff of nightmares, front of house staff ruining your business.“
