“My husband and I went to dinner with friends a few nights ago and we all decided that ice cream was needed for dessert. We Googled ice cream nearby and Handel's was suggested. We were immediately greeted as soon as we walked in by a super sweet little smiling blonde and a group of other smiling, friendly teens. These kids seemed happy and excited to be there and eager to serve. We all got AMAZING ice cream and service and will be Handel's regulars for sure. My main reason for this review is for the owner to know what an AMAZING group of kids you have working this store. You rarely see young kids these days that engage with people and can actually have conversations with adults. This was on 6/28/24 So thank you for such a delicious and fun treat!“

“My son's face says it all! This place was so great! I believe the gentleman that helped us out was the owner and he was so friendly! My son had banana and while I had that I also added the pumpkin pie and vanilla flavors. They paired AMAZINGLY! My husband had the cookies flavor and was also very happy! Portions were just right for each of us and the topping options weren't overwhelming! We will definitely be back!“

“I ordered the Mango Pomelo Yogurt drink, which reminded me of mango lassi but with little pieces of frozen mango and tapioca (or tiny boba—not sure what exactly). I saw some previous reviews on sweetness. I’m an American who has lived in Asia, so that being said, the first swig felt like it could use a touch more sweetness, but by the second slurp I was back in my Asian element & it was perfect. If you’re accustomed to super sugary drinks, this may not hit the spot, but I found it delicious and refreshing.“

“I went just before noon and was the only one in there. The lady that was working was very nice and knowledgeable. I tried the Dutch chocolate, cookies and crème, and cake batter (I think it was). All very good! Fair pricing compared to similar places. The only thing I did not like was their location. It’s in a newer shopping center with apartments behind it. Parking is hard with a couple restaurants by them. There is a parking garage around the corner but I didn’t look to see if it cost or not. And who wants to walk half a mile from where you park just to get froyo! But it was very tasty and very clean inside! Since you control what you get, you can control how much you want to spend if you’re careful.“

“First time trying rice yogurt boba and decided to go with the classic: Purple Rice Yogurt.

The store is well decorated and cute. The owners are nice and friendly. The store is located around a central of other Asian stores, restaurants, and business. When I got my drink, it came in a cute little cup filled all the way to the top.

The drinks are a little on the pricer side and despite it being a small cup compared to regular boba shops, I found myself getting full on one cup alone (compared to a regular boba shop--one cup can be finished in 5 minutes and I'd crave more).

The drink was a little heavier compared to regular boba (because it is yogurt) and the yogurt was on the tartier side which I did not expect. The purple rice added a nice chewiness to the drink. I found myself having to chew in between sips to properly digest.

It's definitely unique if you are used to traditional boba milk tea albeit on the healthier side and if you can tolerate a little bit of tartiness.

I would come back and try their other items.

Edit: I tried another boba shop that sells purple rice yogurt and Yomie’s is definitely king! Yomie’s quality and quantity is definitely better. I can’t wait to come back and try another one of their items.“

“Very good. It's always crowded and we have to wait at least 30 mins to get there. We had pistachio, caramello and dark chocolate flavors. Dark chocolate was superb, whereas caramello was kindof okay, but pistachio had a burnt flavor, which we didn't like.“

“The cashier was super friendly and made a lot of small talk with us. We ordered the bourbon vanilla and a strawberry shake. The strawberry shake was the perfect thickness with nice flavor and of course whip cream on top. The bourbon vanilla was super small but I guess for the price it was an okay amount. There was nothing special about the ice cream, it tasted like vanilla with a hint of alcohol, it needed something more but I’m glad we tried it and the shake was definitely enough to make us come back.“

“Very nice place located in a very laid-back area. They have many yogurt flavors from Chocolate Hazelnut to Ube Honey. The best part is the toppings varying from fruits to candies to brownie and cheesecake bites to mocha. It is so delicious and they make it right in front of you and always ask “anything else?” because they have unlimited toppings. They also have so many sizes to choose from maybe around 5 or 6 or so which is very convenient. At this location they have indoor and outdoor seating while the vibe on the inside is really nice along with the outside. The store itself is very clean and has a bathroom which is nice. I have had many different frozen yogurt places and I have to this is my favorite. And it is not only yogurt, they serve smoothies too! Just an amazing place.“

“My husband ordered chicken strips which are always good. I ordered the chicken strawberry salad which is usually pretty good but tonight it was EXCELLENT. The chicken was cooked perfectly, tender and seasoned well. The salad was great, with Romaine lettuce, Spinach, other veggies, chopped almonds and perfect fruit. Every bite of strawberries, blueberries and pineapple was delicious. This is the best "deal" in town, and it also includes a side of their own quality brand of cottage cheese, dressing and croutons. Hope it's this great next time -- which will be soon! We buy groceries at this Braums and other items, and their ice cream is THE BEST.“
