50 Best Ice Cream Shops near The Colony

“The ambiance is delightful, and the selection of ice cream flavors is impressive. I highly recommend visiting this place for a great experience!“

“This is the best location! They're food is always fresh and well made. Their fries are the best because they are also fresh and not dark and old. You don't have to pick through them and throw out the bad ones, where you only have a few edible fries. The customer service here is also excellent! They make you feel like they appreciate your business and make you feel like family! 20 out of 10, I recommend!“

“Great food and always great service. Thanks to Natalia for taking care of us today. Great job!“

“Amazing milkshakes and ice cream! We love this place!“

“Loved that they had my favorite childhood ice cream flavors Superman and Bluemoon. However, I DID NOT like that no one had on gloves scooping or serving ice cream. Please Mgmt get your employees some gloves especially when handling food…that should be a MUST.“

“Service was great and the ice cram sandwiches were very nice 👍. One of the best ice cream sandwich places to go to 🍦. One small thing I noticed was that it was very crowded and it was really hard to exit. But other than that the food was great I have no other complaints. I would definitely recommend coming here.“

“Emily at sonic was WONDERFUL! 🎉 She was so kind when taking my order, then when she brought it out she repeated my order (loved) and made sure I had my sauce in the bag! Her happy attitude & kindness made my experience so much better!!
Thank you EMILY for brightening my day & talking with me! ⭐✨“

“amazing ice cream that always changes, the owner Is very friendly and they have dairy free options! Definitely will be making this place a regular destination“

“My husband and I went to dinner with friends a few nights ago and we all decided that ice cream was needed for dessert. We Googled ice cream nearby and Handel's was suggested. We were immediately greeted as soon as we walked in by a super sweet little smiling blonde and a group of other smiling, friendly teens. These kids seemed happy and excited to be there and eager to serve. We all got AMAZING ice cream and service and will be Handel's regulars for sure. My main reason for this review is for the owner to know what an AMAZING group of kids you have working this store. You rarely see young kids these days that engage with people and can actually have conversations with adults. This was on 6/28/24 So thank you for such a delicious and fun treat!“

“🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 ICE CREAM. recommend the FRIED Ice Cream“

“Sugar & Brew is absolutely amazing! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the drinks and treats are delicious, and the service is outstanding. Everything feels fresh and made with care. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and truly makes the experience even better. Definitely a wonderful place to relax, enjoy something sweet, and spend time with family or friends. Highly recommend Sugar & Brew. We’ll definitely be coming back!“

“Our favorite ice cream spot in Little Elm! They always have such fun, unique flavors, and the shop is super clean and cute. The staff is so friendly, and they have awesome dairy-free options that my husband loves. We keep coming back for a reason!“

“some of the best ice cream I've ever had! tons of gluten free flavors!“

“Banana split is my go to order and it's sufficient for 3 to 4 people at such an affordable rate. You would rarely go wrong with their ice cream flavors. Everything is always so fresh. Needless to say they have earned their name. Their dairy section is equally good too. They keep some good Ice creams tubs and delicacies“

“First time trying this place, we had a vanilla latte and milk ramasalai cake. Both were really good and the staff was friendly. I love the decor, the only issue is the harsh LED lighting. Wow. I imagine being here at night 😬. Overall, I like it and will be back, just during the day.“

“Braum's is a decent place if you want a good breakfast without spending a lot. The breakfast is tasty, the portions are good, and it's worth the money. The service was fast, and I got my food quickly. Overall, a good spot for a quick and affordable breakfast.“

“Amazing flavor, super fresh, made right in front of you! The kids loved it! I wish we had one where we live. 💕“

“Excelente servicio, todo muy delicioso, super recomendado!!“

“Creatively designed desserts. Lots of flavors to choose from. Free samples. The ordering process is a little chaotic and warrants revisiting. Since you have to use a kiosk to pre-order and pay (without declaring desired flavors) the available flavors are difficult to know until the moment you're order # is called. This creates a bottleneck and invasion of personal space at times. I ordered a cup with 4 flavors but ended up doubling up on 2 instead to save time and hassel.“

“Excellent food and help! We will definitely be back often.“

“the ice cream was very delicious!!“

“It is a small, nice, clean place. But I must say that it is a little more expensive than other places that sell the same products. Apparently their specialty is strawberries with cream because we ate there and everyone asked for strawberries with cream. I tried the strawberries with cream and they are very good but the nuts seem to be of very low quality or very old and that makes it take away from their signature dish. If you go, you should ask for them without nuts. Maybe we will come back to try some other different dishes.“

“We had an amazing experience at Bollywood Pizza! From the moment we walked in, the staff was welcoming and friendly. The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and made with great quality ingredients. Every bite was full of authentic taste, and the menu has something for everyone.

The atmosphere is clean, comfortable, and perfect for enjoying a meal with family and friends. The service was quick, and everyone made us feel valued as customers.

If you're looking for delicious Indian-style pizza and flavorful food, I highly recommend Bollywood Pizza. We'll definitely be coming back again. Thank you for the wonderful food and excellent service!“

“Best Gelato!! Very good, highly recommend“

“This is my first time eating here and IT WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING“

“Until I tried The Gelato Cone, I felt like I had never truly eaten ice cream before. This is what real flavor tastes like!“

“friendly workers and tasty vegan burgers 🍔!“

“I want to commend the staff for their hard work yesterday. The store was blazing hot but the young lady with the blonde hair was running orders back and forth dripping with sweat and the girl with the messed up knee was taking orders plus making the treats fast and efficiently. I will definitely be back.“

“As a bakery owner in another state, I was very impressed with Pietro’s! Everything we tried was amazing! I’m Italian so brought back a lot of memories! Well done!“

“Great place to take the kids! The play area is unique and well maintained. I Highly recommend.“

“Awesome experience love the printed lattes“

“I rented a paleta cart for about 150 paletas. The price was reasonable and the fact you get it for 25 helps you make it back in time to return the cart once you're done. All the paletas were delicious! Everyone loved them at our Sweet 16! Thank you guys for making it memorable! Highly recommend them for the paleta carts and all their food and desserts!“

“I recently visited the store and had such a great experience. The service was excellent, and I was impressed by the wide variety of flavors available. As a chocolate lover, I chose the Chocolate Devotion and it was absolutely delicious…will definitely be going back again soon!“

“Tried the 24-K latte at Desert Avenue and it was not only stunning but delicious ✨ Served on a beautiful gold tray—it honestly felt like Dubai vibes. Paired it with an almond croissant, which was perfectly flaky and delicious. Highly recommend the lavender ice cream too—so unique and refreshing! They offer a great variety of desserts and drinks, and I truly loved everything I tried. Such a great spot to sit back, relax, and enjoy the atmosphere—I’ll definitely be returning!“

“My grandson is a Crumbl lover, he ordered a bunch of stuff and one item was not included in his order.. with some back and forth with door dash(im so not a fan) and the bakery, they made it right and he got to enjoy his Dubai chocolate strawberry cup and he loved it. They were kind and helpful (he was making the calls himself to get it worked out, and they took care of it. For that alone they get 5 stars for great customer CARE. Park location Dallas specifically. ❤“

“Employees need to be trained on being faster“

“Love Jeremiah’s!! Its the best!“

“Glad to found this new gelato place! There are different types of flavors and best gelato with Asian flavors and Western flavors. As usual, love to taste 1st before the picture 🤣. If you already tried Europe/ Italy gelato when traveling there before, then should checking out this place. 👍“

“Had a fantastic meal at Rico's. The tacos were fresh, flavorful, and packed with authentic Mexican taste, and the paletas were the perfect sweet treat to finish the meal. Everything was made with quality ingredients and served with care. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit. Great food, excellent value, and a fun atmosphere.“

“It's always delicious, never fails.“

“I was in the area and decided to grab some ice cream here. The shop had a nice, relaxed feel and the staff was friendly without being over the top. I went with a couple different flavors and both were really good, especially the one with the chocolate pieces. Portions were decent for the price too. It wasnt overly sweet, which I liked, and everything tasted fresh. There were a few people enjoying their treats, but I didnt have to wait long. Overall, it was a nice little ice cream stop and I’d happily come back next time I’m craving something cold.“
