“Awakened one morning wishing that my now departed Addison Sonic was still open. Shut down about two years ago and haven't had a good American hot dog since.I then recalled there was one fairly close in Farmers Branch. So, off we go one Saturday afternoon to satisfy the craving! On the drive over, friend kept raving about Sonic's ice cream Blasts. He was really selling the Reese's Peanut Butter Blast knowing that PB cups are one of my favorite vices. Only 990 calories you say? No thanks!...but, stay tuned...Service at the drive up station was friendly and quick. The server delivering the goods was wearing a mask but no gloves.Ordered the American Dog w/extra relish/onions and added tomatoes when I got home. The beef dog was delicious, bun warm and soft, meeting my expectations. While usually I would only eat half, saving rest for another day, restraint this day was absent, devoured the whole thing and enjoyed every bite.Yes, I caved after many further descriptive accolades about the Reese's Blast, subbing this instead of their scrumptious onion rings. Absolutely worth the calories for a rare treat! Lots of chunks of the chocolate and PB in the creamy flavorful vanilla ice cream. I really liked this tasty dessert, savoring it over 3 days to minimize the calorie/sugar overload. I'd do it again!Very glad I decided to have a day of shameful indulgence !“

When you're offering a "better than Nutella" menu option, you've set the bar pretty high, but their hazelnut-laced creation indeed delivered a nuanced flavor in the brief time it lasted before I destroyed it. They had some nice-looking cakes as well, and while it was a dairy and egg heavy place, the sorbet options looked quality as well. There was a bit of outdoor seating available for the local canine owners, or just for anyone who enjoys an ice cream on a pleasant evening.“

“I was craving a sweet treat and stumbled upon this spot. I tried a little bit of everything and was not disappointed— it was all amazing! The churros are a must try, like everyone says. The fruit is really fresh, even on top of the rolled ice cream, which normally is just frozen fruit at other places. I tried the watermelon fruit drink, it was real juiced watermelon! ❤️ ?
