50 Best Ice Cream Shops near Farmers Branch

“The only item I can rate is the mango paleta, and it easily gets 5 stars! It was incredibly flavorful, creamy, and refreshing. I wish there were a location closer to my area because I’d love to support this establishment and try some of the other flavors.

Useful Tip: If you like Korean Melona bars, you’ll enjoy these paletas even more! In my opinion, they’re better and less expensive. Definitely worth trying if you come across them!“

“Great place to pick up an injured opossum. Got the baby, got a drink. 😎“

“amazing ice cream that always changes, the owner Is very friendly and they have dairy free options! Definitely will be making this place a regular destination“

“The Dolly Llama welcome to Ponte Vedra Outstanding treat for the family! Good Luck Wendy, Josh & family“

“they are very nice and helpful“

“Some of the BEST ice cream on the market!“

“I was very skeptical of ordering gelato from Cavier, especially with it being located 8 miles (17 minutes) away, but me and my husband were needing something sweet and I went ahead and placed an order for 2 small gelatos. This was our first time trying this place also. When the order first went through, it said it was gonna take about 30 mins to get here and then it changed to 42 minutes, so I was thinking... ”Great, it’s gonna get here all melted”. Luckily it ended up being delivered within 30 minutes but still it was a long time for it being gelato. We opened the bag and it was BEYOND my expectations. It was packed in a big styrofoam container ( I was thinking it was gonna be in a very small Paciugo like container). I opened the top of the styrofoam lid and then removed the nicely placed cover and unveiled the most delicious, STILL FROZEN, gelato. 😊 Can’t wait to order more in the future! Definitely worth it!“

“This place is what dreams are made of! Seriously delicious! Our whole fam left happy and full for under $30.“

“My husband and I went to dinner with friends a few nights ago and we all decided that ice cream was needed for dessert. We Googled ice cream nearby and Handel's was suggested. We were immediately greeted as soon as we walked in by a super sweet little smiling blonde and a group of other smiling, friendly teens. These kids seemed happy and excited to be there and eager to serve. We all got AMAZING ice cream and service and will be Handel's regulars for sure. My main reason for this review is for the owner to know what an AMAZING group of kids you have working this store. You rarely see young kids these days that engage with people and can actually have conversations with adults. This was on 6/28/24 So thank you for such a delicious and fun treat!“

“🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 ICE CREAM. recommend the FRIED Ice Cream“

“Went to Milkshakes and More for the first time and had such a great experience. The owner was there and was super welcoming from the moment I walked in. I honestly had no idea what to order, so I told him the kind of flavors I usually like and he recommended a few drinks based on my taste. He even told me that if I didn’t like the one he made, he’d make me another one so I could find something I actually enjoyed. That kind of customer service really stood out to me.

Absolutely loved talking to him too. He was really friendly, easy to talk to, and you can tell he genuinely cares about his customers and the business. The drink was great, the vibe was great, and the whole experience just felt very welcoming. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to. Great business and an even better experience!“

“Great menu with amazing flavor. Must try.“

“Wow. The best gelato I’ve ever eaten. Perfect birthday dessert indulgence.“

“Love this pop shop!! My fave of all time for 7 years is pecan praline“

“Sugar & Brew is absolutely amazing! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the drinks and treats are delicious, and the service is outstanding. Everything feels fresh and made with care. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and truly makes the experience even better. Definitely a wonderful place to relax, enjoy something sweet, and spend time with family or friends. Highly recommend Sugar & Brew. We’ll definitely be coming back!“

“I think her face says it all. The gelato macarons are a delight. Definitely do not recommend letting your kid get gelato and 3 large macarons. 😅. You live and learn. It was all delicious!!!“

“This place is awesome. we had the Dowich and also the Belgian waffle. Definitely 5 stars“

“some of the best ice cream I've ever had! tons of gluten free flavors!“

“Excelente servicio, todo muy delicioso, super recomendado!!“

“I woefully forgot to take a photo of the masterpieces these girlies create each time I've been to Sno, but trust me when I say they are DELICIOUS and very generous with everything they put into them (not sure where the 'not enough juice' reviews are coming from, so wrong).

I am going to advocate for the 'Natural' flavors, all of which are tasty, but the Coconut is my secret favorite. Kids and adults alike will love this place. Also lots of tasty Mexican type treats like corn or chamoyada.“

“I love the hot chettoe elote definitely recommend 👌🏻“

“I’m visiting Dallas again after 4–5 years, and Milwaukee Joe’s is still a must-stop. The service is always great, the flavors are amazing, and I love that there’s usually something new to try each time I visit. Their rotating selection is a real highlight.“

“Banana split is my go to order and it's sufficient for 3 to 4 people at such an affordable rate. You would rarely go wrong with their ice cream flavors. Everything is always so fresh. Needless to say they have earned their name. Their dairy section is equally good too. They keep some good Ice creams tubs and delicacies“

“Owner, Bryce Wallach, recently went above and beyond to bless our family during a very difficult time. Both of our parents tested positive for COVID the day before Easter. Our father died within the week, our mother was sent home to recover. When Bryce heard what had happened he called and said he wanted to bring a sweet treat to our mother while she was recovering. I was so touched knowing how busy he must be as the owner of two Yogurtland locations. He took the time to drive over and deliver not just one little treat but a whole bag of several types of frozen yogurts and toppings. The yogurt was exceptionally good, Bryce’s kindness made it even sweeter! Thank you! Sara Sroufe“

“It is a small, nice, clean place. But I must say that it is a little more expensive than other places that sell the same products. Apparently their specialty is strawberries with cream because we ate there and everyone asked for strawberries with cream. I tried the strawberries with cream and they are very good but the nuts seem to be of very low quality or very old and that makes it take away from their signature dish. If you go, you should ask for them without nuts. Maybe we will come back to try some other different dishes.“

“Braum's is a decent place if you want a good breakfast without spending a lot. The breakfast is tasty, the portions are good, and it's worth the money. The service was fast, and I got my food quickly. Overall, a good spot for a quick and affordable breakfast.“

“Amazing flavor, super fresh, made right in front of you! The kids loved it! I wish we had one where we live. 💕“

“Highland Park Kitchen catered our food for our wedding and it was absolutely amazing!! All of our guests told us they LOVED the food and all of the servers were so helpful and nice. Christy was so easy to work with and very sweet! Highly recommend them!!“

“excellent fresh cookies!“

“I had this location make a custom heart shaped Valentine cake for me. Had a special inscription which was A-line from our favorite song "When you say nothing at all". They did an outstanding job. My wife loved it!“

“Some of the BEST ice cream on the market!“

“I recently visited the store and had such a great experience. The service was excellent, and I was impressed by the wide variety of flavors available. As a chocolate lover, I chose the Chocolate Devotion and it was absolutely delicious…will definitely be going back again soon!“

“I rented a paleta cart for about 150 paletas. The price was reasonable and the fact you get it for 25 helps you make it back in time to return the cart once you're done. All the paletas were delicious! Everyone loved them at our Sweet 16! Thank you guys for making it memorable! Highly recommend them for the paleta carts and all their food and desserts!“

“The ambiance is delightful, and the selection of ice cream flavors is impressive. I highly recommend visiting this place for a great experience!“

“I want to commend the staff for their hard work yesterday. The store was blazing hot but the young lady with the blonde hair was running orders back and forth dripping with sweat and the girl with the messed up knee was taking orders plus making the treats fast and efficiently. I will definitely be back.“

“Milk cream is my go to it is the best tasting delight ever ever ever ahhhhhhhhhh thank you so much for opening.“

“This place is great! Some Sorority sisters and I decided to pop up at this place and convene together. Despite there being about 40 of us, service was fast. The staff was very accommodating and courteous. And now the best part...the ice cream. Oh m'gosh...so many different flavors and multiple ways to get your sweet treats. I can't wait to come back to Cafe Cream & Stone!“

“The waffle cones are the best“

“Tried the 24-K latte at Desert Avenue and it was not only stunning but delicious ✨ Served on a beautiful gold tray—it honestly felt like Dubai vibes. Paired it with an almond croissant, which was perfectly flaky and delicious. Highly recommend the lavender ice cream too—so unique and refreshing! They offer a great variety of desserts and drinks, and I truly loved everything I tried. Such a great spot to sit back, relax, and enjoy the atmosphere—I’ll definitely be returning!“

“Great place to take the kids! The play area is unique and well maintained. I Highly recommend.“

“Updated review: I am giving 4 stars so I don’t “affect the business”. The reason for the loss of a star was the way the second call was handled: cutting me off and telling me my review was the reason the business was being affected.

I went into the store to receive a cash refund for the remaining amount I was still owed, and they offered a complimentary drink, which I appreciate. The Horchata boba is delicious! The employee that was there at the time was great!

I just wish this had been handled a bit better. I shouldn't have had to deal with attitude, calls being hung up on, and the overall issue with their system not being able to issue a full refund—which is the real thing affecting the business.

1st review: DO NOT GO HERE! THEY WILL CHARGE YOU BEFORE CHECKING TO MAKE SURE THEY CAN PROVIDE YOUR ORDER, AND THEY WILL NOT REFUND YOUR TIP AMOUNT. THEY ARE UNPROFESSIONAL AND HAVE HUNG UP ON ME MULTIPLE TIMES.“

“Employees need to be trained on being faster“

“I've tried Coco Bongo approximately 3 times. My top recommendation is the Oreo cup. This place has the best cookies and cream ice cream I've tried. It has a lot of Oreo cookies which usually most places with cookies n cream lack the actual cookie portion. They have really good milkshakes as well and it's a great stop for a quick sweet. I will say, the prices are a little high. I expect these prices at locations with a better and more unique ice cream selection but not at a place like this. Their butter pecan paletas are great and they have a great paleta selection. I recommend this place primarily for paletas. There is no seating area just a small table. They have a good drink selection and the service is quick. I give it a full rating because of the Oreo Cup. Give it a try :)“

“Glad to found this new gelato place! There are different types of flavors and best gelato with Asian flavors and Western flavors. As usual, love to taste 1st before the picture 🤣. If you already tried Europe/ Italy gelato when traveling there before, then should checking out this place. 👍“

“Yummy mangonadas and they play KCBI radio🙌“
