“I stopped here recently for lunch while cruising the mean streets of Farmers Branch, and I appreciated the friendly banter from the gentleman who took my order. My burger and tots were brought out promptly, they looked like a burger and tots, and they were nice and hot. No complaints whatsoever.“

“My husband and I went to dinner with friends a few nights ago and we all decided that ice cream was needed for dessert. We Googled ice cream nearby and Handel's was suggested. We were immediately greeted as soon as we walked in by a super sweet little smiling blonde and a group of other smiling, friendly teens. These kids seemed happy and excited to be there and eager to serve. We all got AMAZING ice cream and service and will be Handel's regulars for sure. My main reason for this review is for the owner to know what an AMAZING group of kids you have working this store. You rarely see young kids these days that engage with people and can actually have conversations with adults. This was on 6/28/24 So thank you for such a delicious and fun treat!“

I tasted the 'jewel of india' flavor - almond, pistachio, and saffron. It was unusual and tasty! I was just in the mood for something more comforting for me and apple fit the bill. Please give it a try! Tiny place, big flavors! The gentleman serving us, Sam, was kind and efficient. I liked talking with him a lot. “It is a small, nice, clean place. But I must say that it is a little more expensive than other places that sell the same products. Apparently their specialty is strawberries with cream because we ate there and everyone asked for strawberries with cream. I tried the strawberries with cream and they are very good but the nuts seem to be of very low quality or very old and that makes it take away from their signature dish. If you go, you should ask for them without nuts. Maybe we will come back to try some other different dishes.“

“I had never been to a snocone place and this did not disappoint for my first time. I had the butter pecan custard and it was well worth the sugar and calories. My bf had some kind of Hawaiian slush that he said was really good. We got there at just the right time because right after we ordered, there was a rush. We will most def be coming back“

“Solid burger and ice cream. Fries were good too not oily or reeking of old burnt oil. The burger was juicy and the shake with it was amazing as well. I did not realise we could get a shake from any ice cream and the peanut butter cup shake did not disappoint.

You can really tell that the quality of milk they are using is good because the ice cream is velvety and has a nice texture. Maybe a tad bit too much sugar for my liking but hey its ice cream, the perfect cheat meal!“

“We stopped here for dessert after having dinner at The Rustic. The staff was friendly. The ice cream was delicious. My husband and I are both dairy free, and they have some delicious vegan ice cream. He had vegan Cookies and Cream Caramel Swirl in a cup. I had a scoop of the same as well as a scoop of the vegan Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough on a waffle cone. It was so good! It was so creamy. It tasted just like dairy ice cream. There is only one table inside the shop, and luckily, we got in just before the rush, so we were able to sit and enjoy our vegan ice cream. I can't wait to go back.“

“Yomie’s Rice and Yogurt is one of the best speciality beverage stores in the DFW area! They offer some unique drinks like yogurt with purple rice in it. If you prefer something more traditional they also offer yoghurt with fresh fruit. I usually get the Mango Pomelo Yogurt or the Oats Yogurt.“
