“My husband and I went to dinner with friends a few nights ago and we all decided that ice cream was needed for dessert. We Googled ice cream nearby and Handel's was suggested. We were immediately greeted as soon as we walked in by a super sweet little smiling blonde and a group of other smiling, friendly teens. These kids seemed happy and excited to be there and eager to serve. We all got AMAZING ice cream and service and will be Handel's regulars for sure. My main reason for this review is for the owner to know what an AMAZING group of kids you have working this store. You rarely see young kids these days that engage with people and can actually have conversations with adults. This was on 6/28/24 So thank you for such a delicious and fun treat!“

“As a hardcore Vietnamese foodie, I can confidently say this is one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in Plano. They serve dishes you almost never find in the DFW area outside of Garland or Grand Prairie—super authentic, delicious, and with portions that are huge. The staff is also super friendly, which makes the experience even better.

When my wife and I went last week, we ordered the combo bánh mì and the family meal for two. My jaw literally dropped when the food came out—I wasn’t exaggerating when I said I was shocked (and excited). The caramelized pork with egg (thịt kho), sweet and sour shrimp soup (canh chua), and chicken salad (gỏi gà) were all spot-on. Every dish was flavorful, authentic, and more than enough to feed us.

I’ve lived in Plano for almost 8 years now and remembered What the Pho back when it was inside 99 Ranch. I had no idea they had moved, and honestly, I’m a little sad I’ve been missing out all this time. The food is that good. Safe to say I’ll be coming back here regularly from now on.“

“Teavalley might be tucked inside a small H Mart in Plano, but trust me it’s worth finding. I tried their Dragon Fruit & Mango Jito and it was amazing. The flavors blended so smoothly, it felt like the perfect mix of tropical refreshment in one cup.

You can really taste the freshness, no weird fake flavors here, just bright, real fruit and quality ingredients. It’s the kind of drink that makes you stop mid sip and go, “Okay, this is good.”

They’ve also got a huge variety of drinks, so whether you’re into fruity refreshers, creamy milk teas, or something in between, you’ll find your go to. Next time you’re grocery shopping at H Mart, skip the food court boba and head straight to Teavalley, you’ll thank me later.“

“I’ve never had a problem at Happy Lemon, they make my drinks right and for comparable prices to other boba shops. They differ by adding freshly squeezed lemonade, which I prefer. Service is standard. Parking is plenty. Good job Happy Lemon. 🍋“

I'm glad Scooter's is in Texas now! My first experience was in Scotts Bluff, Nebraska and I enjoyed there too years ago.“

That said, I do think they’ve started going a little overboard with the sauce lately. It ends up overpowering the flavor and makes the dish a bit too salty. I also miss the smoky, charred sear they used to have — that subtle burnt aroma used to drive me crazy (in the best way). Still, despite the changes, it’s a spot I’ll keep coming back to. “Went there for the 1st time last Saturday. The service and the food were both excellent. Amber was on top of everything and was very knowledgable about the menu items. Husband had a ‘skillet’ breakfast and I had the granola/berry French toast. We left very little food and we didn’t need much to eat afterwards. The food was filling and kept us going until late afternoon. I recommend this restaurant and will be back! Highland Village Texas location“
