“excellent food. plenty full dish. Fantastic hot and sour soup.for sure we will go back there, at least once a week.Vegetarian options: My wife is vegetarian, she loved her dish.I ordered chicken with garlic sauce, one of the best that I have had in last couple of years.“
“You have to order food via its internet website which can be kinda complicated. They offers Sichuan style food. However, not as spicy as the authentic food in Sichuan, China. The food is good. And lunch special offers good food in reasonable price.“
“The atmosphere is warm & inviting. Definitely the coziest of hot pot places I’ve been. The portions are smaller, which makes it easy to manage throughout my meal. Honestly, there are better options with the price point. Lower on my list for quality too. But even still, hot pot remains my kryptonite and so I rate high.P.S. they have pork brain, which is something I’ve not seen.“
“Absolutely love this place. Some of the absolute favorite dishes are wonton soup, Chong qin spicy chicken, twice cooked pork, crispy spicy fish, kung pao chicken, combination fried rice. Everything is great. I go here atleast once every 2 weeks.“
“One of the best Sichuan foods in DFW area. Whole fish with spicy pork is also good. All these pictures are our always must have on our table. Excellent services from Jean, she is running everywhere from cashier to server. We love restaurant decorations and Chinese news on TV, they also have separate section with big group.“
“Please ignore the poor reviews. Tai Zong serves delicious, beautifully presented, spicy, oily Sichuan cuisine in a gorgeous and warm space. It is a bit pricy, sure, but so worth it. Easily the best Sichuan food to be had in Plano, and I've tried it all. Nobody there speaks English, so be patient, respectful, and ready to pull out whatever you remember from your Chinese courses in college. And hope you have Xiurong as your server; she is always kind and attentive and will remember you on your next visit. Negative reviews don't tell the whole story -- Tai Zong is a hidden gem. Give them a chance.“
“Authentic Sichuan restaurant run by Sichuan people. All the dishes are excellent and not the rubbish served by Panda Express. This, in a nutshell is what my wife says and she has the bona fides to say so since she's Chengdu born and raised. I gave the food and service 5-stars but took a little off for the atmosphere because it can sometimes get a little grungy inside. But that actually just adds to the authenticity of the place since lots of delicious restaurants in China--and Asia in general--are like that. We visit quite often, whenever we can't visit the real thing in Chengu, China.“
“Solid as in gold plated Chinese food on offer here at this unassuming strip mall surrounded by mostly Desi shops. Don’t miss the Dim Sum. It’s ding dong delicious. The fried shrimp ball is absolutely perfect with a whisper thin crust and brimming with juicy shrimp. Thank the fry gods in the back for making this dish so light. Think the best shrimp fritter you could ever eat. The variety of the mains plates is also spectacular. So much lamb so little time…“
“Ya’ll (hear my Texas in that ya’ll) the food is SO good. I moved to Richardson and everyone said to try Wang’s Cook House and now I know why. It’s not just regularly good it’s particularly good food. Now I’m hungry..time to order.“
“Royal China is always packed and always a lovely event. We had a reservation for 6 (good play all around) and had the Salt and Pepper Fish, Crystal Shrimp, dried beef, hand-pulled noodles, dumplings, green beans with chicken and green tea ice cream. Everything was wonderful. I'll be back for lunch sometime in the next couple of weeks and I know the food and the service will be just as spot-on for the lunch crowd as well. In our opinion, and we have been here several years, one of the best restaurants in town.“
“Great service, really nice waitress, and got sat quickly -- even on a Saturday night! My fiancé and I ordered the beef flat noodles, steamed pork buns, and the spicy (but not deadly) fried chicken with sichuan peppers. It was heavenly, crispy, spicy/peppery in all the right places, and the onions were cooked perfectly. This place is a gem if you want to eat away from the heavy crowds and just spend a hot evening with a date.“
“I've only ever gotten delivery or takeout from here, but I LOVE it. I've enjoyed everything I've ordered here and I've eaten here numerous times. They literally have the best Crab Rangoon! Sometimes, I just order a couple of those and eat that since it's so good! I highly recommend this place!“
“We got for the tomato soup base with a-Choy root and king oyster mushroom since we have kids, and we absolutely enjoyed it. The fish was extremely tender and tasty. Despite the small square footage, the store offers fantastic fish and a delightful environment. We also savored the homemade fried milk custard and crispy fried pork belly, both of which were excellent. We decided to sign up for the membership to enjoy a lifelong 5% discount.“
