“Halal Mexican Surprise!
Talkin' Tacos in Plano, TX was a delightful surprise for both me and the kids. This was my first experience with halal Mexican cuisine, and it definitely set the bar high. I got the Steak Burrito (SPICY) with additional cilantro, while the kids opted for their usuals: Chicken Tenders with Fries and Apple Juice.
The burrito was bursting with flavor and heat—the steak was tender, well-cooked, and had its own distinct flavor throughout each mouthful. I honestly forgot to take more photos since I was so excited to dig in! The kids enjoyed their lunch just as much, so it was a win for the whole family.
The service was smooth and efficient. Ordering at the kiosk sped up the procedure and reduced long lineups, which is definitely an advantage when you're with a large party!
The ambiance was clean, cozy, and roomy. They had plenty of seating and could easily accommodate our large family.
Talkin' Tacos has become an official staple in my Texas cuisine trip! I'll definitely return to sample more of the menu—there are so many alternatives to explore. Highly recommended!“

“I live in Tyler and will drive to the Dallas area and go out of my way to eat at Mama Vickys! the food is always amazing! Fresh and will burn your mouth! I bring food back to Tyler everytime I come for family. The best part is the smiling faces of the owners everytime we walk in the door. They are kind and strive to make your experience Excellent every visit!!!!“

“Randall, the manager is really great. He’s taken care of me and my friends at the bar multiple times. I’ve always have a great time when I’m here and it’s on my weekly rotation. He’s great to hang out and talk too. 10/10 y’all should come around for a fun time.“

“This place was really good. The fish tacos were amazing. They were big and the fish was thick. The staff was kind and the set up was great. It was clean and the menu had a lot of great options. They had nice outdoor patio seating and I definitely will be back.“

“Senor Locos Tex-Mex in Plano is by far one of the best places to eat in all of DFW - in my opinion. The food is outstanding, the service is great, the drinks are delicious. Overall, if I lived closer I'd be here almost every day!“

“At the Grapevine location in Harvest Hall, this was the best stall option out of the few our group tried. My gluten-sensitive husband ordered their daily special of loaded fried that were topped with steak, shrimp, and lobster. The garlic aioli was a bit strong, but tasty! It was a bit pricey, but so were all the other stalls and at least at this vendor you get lobster! See the picture in the comment!“

“This Torchy’s is the best location, hands down! Everyone is so nice and they keep it clean, even when hella busy. Food is damn good, duh! Happy Hour is great at this location!

“Plano Babes in Business had the most amazing time supporting local owner Tim at Burnt Barbecue and Tacos!🔥🌮 The food was absolutely delicious — we especially loved the potato salad made from his grandmother’s recipe. How cool is that? Tim shared that summer tends to be a bit slower with everyone busy, so we were extra glad to be there today to support him and his awesome team. It’s a great reminder that we can all make a difference by showing up for our local businesses. “We've been here a few times and each time, Maria greets us with a smile, gives great recommendations, and delivers great service! This last time, I had the sopes, cecina and chorizo. Delicious! My husband had the flautas and he enjoyed them! Their horchata and jamaica aguas frescas are delicious too! Quieter place than others, cleaner than others, and you get to satisfy your crave for Mexican food! We'll be back!“

“We drove an hour for the Christmas pop-up event with our family that came to visit from MD. We loved every bit of the experience. The food and drinks were amazing! Connor, our waiter could not have been better! He was such a sweetheart and was so amazing dealing with our party of 11!! 10/10 recommend!!“
“Hidden gem! Joyful staff, different options aside from the usual ( sopes, tortas, breakfast tacos, hot dog, burger), and they got 4 different kinds of salsas. I got a tacos platter of all the meats and the Birria was my fav, all the tacos were delicious.They close at 4pm currently so get it early.Closed on Sundays.“
