“I placed a catering order with these guys 2 hours before I needed it, and somehow, they were able to fill the order. I dropped it off with one of my customers. They put on an awesome spread for the price and it comes with all of the serving utensils as well. Everything looks so good that I decided to come back for lunch. I spoke with one of the managers and he recognized me from when I stopped in for the catering pick up. I believe his name was adrian. He was super Hospital and friendly. The food was delicious, well seasoned and fresh. Not only will I be back for lunch again in the future but will be doing many more catering orders with this company.“

We found this place browsing Google maps and decided to go ahead and eat while traffic died down. That was a great decision.This place is situated in a strip shopping center behind QT and looks plain on the outside but is very nice inside.The lady at the counter switched the menu from Spanish to English for us. I almost ordered the Birria Tacos but switched to the Queso Birria when she said that shell was homemade. My wife went for the taco plate. The food was absolutely delicious. Much better than the mediocre Mexican joints that litter Louisiana where we live. The experience was enhanced by the numerous salsas we got to try. The jalapeño was my favorite.This place is more traditional Mexican food than Tex Mex specializing in tortas & tacos.Would I go back? I certainly would. Number one you can't really cut into those and it's not like they don't have actual hard plates to serve food on cause they had half our order on them. Just odd. For $35 I would appreciate a real plate I don't cut INTO. Still the food was decent (I got pupusas) but not the best I've had (Vickie's was closed that day). My husband loved the burrito but they were out of lengua and tripas. Kind of a let down. Service was very good. The young lady and her mom run the show and they are very sweet. 5 stars for service. Ambiance isn't much to write home about. It's a hole in the wall vibe but I could care less if food and service are good. The downside to the place is the shared bathroom space with a gas station and chicken shack. No toilet paper, no soap, no paper towels and not the best kept. What the heck???? “It's in the Valero. It does not look good but the food is excellent. The staff is nice and helpful. Be clear with your order. They expect every taco to have eggs, cheese, and meat. I ordered a bean and cheese tacos and the wanted to add eggs. No problem, just be clear. You can get any taco on corn or flour. The fajita taco can have cilantro and chopped onion or even grilled onion and pepper. The pork carnitas and fajitas are both good. Cooked well and chopped small. The menu is posted but I just ordered what I wanted. There are two sizes of tortillas, I only ever ordered the small. Two small tacos were enough.The surroundings look questionable but the food and staff are excellent. If you are staying in the RV park across the way, come here for breakfast.“

When you walk in the front doors, Lujanos is the second food vendor on the right. The staff was super nice, and their areas were clean and tidy. There is outside seating at 2 tables as long as you don't mind melting in the Texas heat?. There wasn't much flavor on the chicken. It was just beans, chicken, cheese & avocado. I'm use to my torta having all the fixings like lettuce, onions, crema & real Mexican cheese. I asked for rice instead of fries. The rice over cooked and didn't have much seasoning. I also tried the flautas. Now those were a hit!! “I've been coming here for about 2 years now. At the beginning the burgers did seem pretty dry and the fries were always undercooked.Last couple months the burger and frees have been great! Seems like they changed cooks.The only issue is every time I order online it states a time that it will be ready. I usually get there 5 minutes after the estimated time and always end up waiting over 20 minutes. The two servers they have in the front are running around taking orders and answering the phone. I'm sure they are understaffed but maybe changing the estimated time online for them to have more time to make an order?Overall it's a really good place compared to buying fast food from the surrounding places.“

“I ordered the 10 Trompo Tacos for $16.99 with no onions. My order was ready fairly quickly and the tacos were still hot despite me making a couple stops on the way home. Served in fresh corn tortillas, there was plenty of meat sliced off the rotisserie and not overly greasy. Accompanied with limes, radish, pineapple, hot peppers and both Roja and Verde sauces, there were a lot of great flavors and seasonings to be had. Service was friendly. The fajita tacos get a 7/10 for me, I felt the meat could’ve been a bit different but with the salsa y onions asada it’s great. They even serve the tacos with radishes. My 4 year old LOVED the rice and borracho beans. The beans tasted like what we had growing up with the hot dog or sausage in it. The margaritas are great! They offered tajin and chamoy around the rim.
