“Tropical Smoothie Cafe was the perfect post-park and fishing stop after Old Settlers Park.
We had a BOGO coupon, grabbed smoothies for the family, and everybody enjoyed theirs. Smooth, flavorful, refreshing, and made quickly. Emma gave us good customer service, which made the stop feel easy and pleasant.
Good taste, good service, and a nice little reward after being outside. We definitely see ourselves coming back.“
“I got the Jalapeno Corn. There's a nice variety of dishes at different price points and some nice space to hangout at. The cashier taking my order seemed inexperienced but put in good effort and had a coworker to help them, which gave the experience a very laid-back pace. There is WiFi, but it's unsecured. Good place to read if it's not busy.
The packaging was excessive (they gave me a plastic bag for dine in, but some people like a bag). Outdoor tables weren't covered, but were nicely clean. It would be better if it were nestled somewhere (maybe by a park or a residential area) instead of an exposed feeling strip mall, but Plano doesn't allow that kinda thing much.
It wasn't a crazy amazing experience or anything, but there were a lot of details that make it stand out. It seems like it would be a good place to meet someone since the pressure to order something expensive is low and there is bound to be something worth getting. I'd recommend it for a casual dining experience, it stands out in that genre. There's no drive through, so it feels a lot more sanitary than some other places.“
