“We ordered Take Out/Pizza Pick up. It was ready way before they said it would be. And probably one of THE best pizzas I’ve ever had! We took the large meat lovers pizza down to the beach and ate it while sitting on the tailgate…watching the full moon. The cheese was super gooey! You could tell it was all very fresh ingredients. I’ve had pizza in 36 different countries and many, many states and this one ranks up at the top!”

“My family and I were visiting from San Antonio and ended our night at Shorty's two of those nights. Great live music and friendly bar staff. I left my debit card there and realized when we were already halfway home Sunday. They mailed it to me in San Antonio! Solid place. We will be back again.”

“We Loved this place! We ate here for breakfast. The food was great. It was hot, fresh, and served quickly. The staff & service was awesome. The restaurant was clean, and full of sports memorabilia which we absolutely loved. Our server (I think her name was Marie or Maria) was equally as awesome. She took care of all 10 of us, and was super nice and friendly.
We visit Port A often and this was our 1st visit to Coach's.
Definitely won't be our last!”

“The VFW is an Amazing organizations that benefits our veterans and community. They cater benefits of all natures for our members, community and town. Open to the public for large clean atmosphere, shuffleboard (local tournaments on Wednesday and Saturday 1pm), pool, drinks, and gaming. Kid friendly. Westerns on daily. Great senior camaraderie! Open everyday 13p.m. -10p.m. midnight on thr weekends.”

“If you are looking for a neat little coffe shop, then this is a must! They also have a little boutique inside, and cute little gifts. We were recently there on vacation, and I went 3 days in a row to get the Almond Joy iced coffee. My sister had brought me a S'mores one the 1st day there. I visited everyday while we were on vacation, and now that I am home I wish I had a almond joy iced coffee! It was delicious! I wish I knew how to make it, because that is all I have been thinking about! Definitely will be back next year.”

“The one time we're not hounded by a tip screen, we actually wanted to leave one. The young lady at this establishment could not have been nicer. She insisted we bring our pup up on the deck to get him off the asphalt and gave him a cup of water. She answered our questions politely and served our order promptly and generously. It was nice to see someone appearing to enjoy being at work rather than treat her customers like a chore. Will be back soon just to assuage our no-tip guilt.”

“The Donut Palace knows how to handle a crowd! Even though it was very busy, the line moved quickly and efficiently. The staff clearly knows how to keep things running smoothly. The donuts were fresh and tasty, and the kolaches were delicious as well. A great spot for a quick, satisfying breakfast!”

“Wow wow wow-- this is the best place ive ever eaten hands down. If you want fresh seafood, prepared right, and you actually want to get what you pay for as opposed to all of the other touristy high priced stuff on the island-- this is absolutely the place to go.

Sat down saw a few families with kids eating, so im not sure what the other reviews are talking about, maybe they just had big parties and no reservations-- ANYWAYS

Best crab cakes ive ever had, best coconut cream pie, and the sushi is amazing as well. This has been the highlight of my beach trip along with my friends-- 10/10 dont miss this. I will definitely be back 💕”

“Personally, this was one of the best dinners I’ve ever eaten in my 47 years. Fish was second to none, loved the salad and dessert too! Would prefer rice over pasta and potatoes personally for a starch. The carrot cake icing is more vanilla than cheesy and there are no nuts (yay). The chocolate cake is very dark and yummy. “We both had the fried shrimp basket with onion rings. Everything was super crunch and delicious! The rings were a little greasy though. I was disappointed that we were charged for them even though we were told that we could substitute them for the fries for no additional charge. Despite that, we will return as everything else was great.
It's a sports bar so the staff happily changed the TV to the football game for us. The staff was attentive and nice. The music was low enough that we could have a conversation without yelling. Parking can be difficult if you have a larger vehicle as we do but there is better parking just across the street.
We visit Port A frequently and have eaten at almost all local restaurants. We plan to return to Stingray's!”

“I can only honestly speak of my experience because I've read all the reviews.....my 1st Beach Trip Aug 13-16th....just got home and I'm gonna tell you I can't wait to go back....something must have changed because everybody was so accomodating....from the bar and restaurant staff that had to deal with my group of 28 people and never once blinked at making everything right to the housekeeping that were daily asking us if we needed stuff and quick to help.....I swear I can't wait to make my reservation for next year... they don't advertise anything they aren't and it's the perfect idea of what you need for a Beach Trip....on the beach as close as you can be.....I didn't want to come home....but....til we meet again you sweet people......I Thank You”
