“We ordered food for the family to take home and eat! My 3rd grader said the food was buss’in! Which apparently means it was amazing which I have to agree with. I’ve never had anything I haven’t liked from her. The food and the service is always amazing! All staff I have met has always been phenomenal. This is our favorite bbq place here in south Texas!“

“We Loved this place! We ate here for breakfast. The food was great. It was hot, fresh, and served quickly. The staff & service was awesome. The restaurant was clean, and full of sports memorabilia which we absolutely loved. Our server (I think her name was Marie or Maria) was equally as awesome. She took care of all 10 of us, and was super nice and friendly.
We visit Port A often and this was our 1st visit to Coach's.
Definitely won't be our last!“

“Beautiful pool side delivery! So fun to eat and swim! Really wonderful staff, super kind girl with blond hair in braids helped us today. Shrimp was pretty good, but the fried pickles, mahi tacos and fries & ranch dip were all really good! /salad was not so good. Highly recommend the prickly pear margarita, absolutely delicious !!!“

“My wife and I had a late lunch on December 21st. Michelle was our waitress. She was awesome. Michelle was personable, kind and attentive during our meal. Food was excellent and the experience was memorable. Michelle's positive personality made our visit that much more enjoyable.“

“Personally, this was one of the best dinners I’ve ever eaten in my 47 years. Fish was second to none, loved the salad and dessert too! Would prefer rice over pasta and potatoes personally for a starch. The carrot cake icing is more vanilla than cheesy and there are no nuts (yay). The chocolate cake is very dark and yummy. I’ll be back!!!!!“

“Concerning someone’s review about enchiladas burning a styrofoam container:
1) this is great food, I’ve eaten here plenty of times, I’m hung over and about to run to this place to grab some tacos
2) unless you have never ordered enchiladas to-go or delivered I could understand this being an issue, or if you were drunk and wrote the review because you were bummed about the situation….i cannot let this review go unanswered as it’s the year 2025, and anyone who is posting restaurant reviews has enough food experience to know that if you are ordering hot Mexican food, especially enchiladas, to-go and don’t like how affordable food is packed in styrofoam, don’t do it - eat in the restaurant or request a metal container.“

“Let me start out by saying I love this place The Island Cafe has turned into my favorite spot. The omelette’s are fluffy, the hash browns are crispy a the bacon is perfectly cooked.
Don’t even get me started on the pancakes….Let’s just say they are delicious.
Feeling competitive try out their Pancake challenge.
Next time you’re looking for a place with great food The Island Cafe is absolutely a Must Try!!!!“

“Virginia's was one of my first stops as soon as I arrived! I HIGHLY recommend the Yellowfin Tuna from the appetizers menu! I went twice during this visit and brought some home with me!!! I have loved this ever since I tried it years ago. Great job Virginia's!!!“

“We ordered Take Out/Pizza Pick up. It was ready way before they said it would be. And probably one of THE best pizzas I’ve ever had! We took the large meat lovers pizza down to the beach and ate it while sitting on the tailgate…watching the full moon. The cheese was super gooey! You could tell it was all very fresh ingredients. I’ve had pizza in 36 different countries and many, many states and this one ranks up at the top!“
