“Tonight the Lumberton High School Spanish Club went to dinner at Las Cazuelas Mexican Food. The food and service was outstanding. They have a good mixture between Tex Mex and more authentic Mexican food. Didn’t take pics of everything but wish I had! I personally had the “cazuela de mariscos” (seafood soup) that was so dang tasty. This restaurant hasn’t even been open for a year, but they handled a group of 23 (mostly teenagers) like pros! They made us feel right at “home”. We will definitely be back! Love this new addition to Downtown Beaumont. — at Las Cazuelas Mexican Food.“

However, this one takes the cake for overall service and authenticity. Every variety of taco they serve is absolutely mouth watering. There's not a single thing they offer that I would not recommend. And if you don't spread their complimentary green salsa on each bite, you're missing out on a piece of Heaven every time!It is well worth the drive to Port Arthur on any given day for tacos if you're in the area. I hesitate to go to any others if I have the time for a quick trip down the highway. “Wow! Stopped by here after leaving Houston to find a hotel after hurricane beryl. Needed a warm meal and this place did not disappoint! Very very authentic Mexican food. The decor was very nice. The owners out a lot of love into this place. The food will take a little while to get to you, but let me tell you, the wait is worth it! The food tastes like a good home cooked meal with fresh ingredients. Good flavor on the steak meat. The chicharron was flavorful and all the tortillas were homemade. Give this place a try!“

It's usually busy and a great place for kids and families. They do have some vegetarian options and a lunch menu. But check to make sure if the beans and rice are made without meat products.

“Since everything in this town closes at 9:00, I decided to try this place out. I ordered a torta and Gordita, but they were out of gorditas so I grabbed 3 mini tacos. The meats are all prepared ahead and you can see them in the steam tray. Enjoyed everything, but the asada on the torta didn’t have a lot of flavor. Mini tacos were really good and the green salsa hit just right. Felt it was a good meal for the price I paid.“

“This was my first time eating here, and I have no complaints at all! I was quick to be seated as soon as I get there, and within seconds I had my drink! Chips and salsa were served as well, you could tell they were fresh. I went for their Appetizer Sampler, must say I enjoyed. I highly recommend it if you don’t ever know what to get. Comes with nachos, quesadillas, flauta, chicken tenders, chicken wings, and stuffed jalapeños. 10/10 visit, and I will most definitely be back.“
