“My wife and I tried out the Food Zone in Porter today. We had been wanting to try it out but had not made time to try one of these food trucks. As far as the Food Zone is concerned, I was happy to see how clean it was. The gem for me is El Rey de Las Tortas. I was very pleased with the selection to choose from. The place is neat and clean. The music was not loud and nice to hear. I like the TV screens for entertainment. I ate the torta La Aborazada. It was such a good torta. They pack it with meat and all the good stuff. I was so full I could not finish it. I like that it came with fries and a small cup of charro beans. I definitely recommend to try this place out. I will be going back and I will update this review as I try more options.“

“Was at Back Pew this weekend 3/1/25 for a car show. Car show and live music were very nice, but the food vendor (Temo’s Kitchen) was below par. Temo’s Kitchen was a food vendor at the event. Placed an order with the vendor and was told it would take about an hour to prepare. The order took longer than suggested...and the order was wrong. To correct the order would have taken more time. I was hungry. I ended up giving my food away, leaving the event, and getting food elsewhere. Again, the car show and the live music were nice…, but I was highly disappointed with the food vendor, Temo’s Kitchen.“

“My husband and I went on a hunt for a good, not-too-expensive taco place after our usual go to place was closed (on a Friday, weird.) We stopped at several places and nearly every single one had mini tacos at $2 a pop!! Over priced, in my opinion. We finally ended our search at Taqueria Los Gallos.As the name suggests (and what i could see), the place is run by a kitchen of men. The wait was too long for the amount of food and amount of people ahead of us (one person.) Aside from that, the food was pretty good, the salsa flavorful and spicy, and the Horchata, unfortunately, watered down. The fajita meat on the torta and tacos was good but a little salty. Great place with a fun atmosphere!

“I've dined here numerous times with my family but last night was a first for us. I have 4 kids. So a party of 6 total. 2 of my kids are teenagers and had adult plates, 2 had kids meals. We were charged an automatic gratuity of 25%. I get it but it was a first for me from this location. Not sure if I'll be returning as it was right at $200 to eat out.“

“Fantastic Greek fare! Staff are legit straight from Greece. 🇬🇷 Shameful of us that we didn’t take any photos of our food before we scarfed it down! Gyros dinner platter with grilled vegetables - insane. Others had the avgolemono soup and practically licked the bowl. Jealous of Kingwood to have such an authentic Greek restaurant. Counting the days to our next return!“

He introduced himself because he remembered me from another day. This guy is the perfect employee and is the reason that I will go back. I called the owner asked him what I could do to keep them alive and he said exact words I’m sorry, sweetheart. You should’ve said that you needed them for Sunday please keep them on ice for tonight. Bring them back to me in the morning and I will give you fresh ones on Sunday so your Mother’s Day will turn out good so that’s what I did and I could not be more pleased with the size the quality the service just everything about the owner of this place is just amazing. Not only did he go above and beyond to help. Make sure my Mother’s Day was good. I don’t know any other business would’ve took back two huge socks of crawfish without charging me.
