The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the kind of restaurant where you immediately feel comfortable settling in for a good meal. I went straight for the cheeseburger with bacon, and honestly, I’m glad I skipped breakfast because this thing is massive in the best possible way. The burger arrived piled high, with thick, hearty cuts of bacon that were cooked perfectly—crispy on the edges and full of flavor. The patty itself was the real star. The seasoning was spot-on, giving the meat a rich, satisfying flavor without overpowering it. What really impressed me was just how juicy the burger was. Every bite had that perfect balance of texture and flavor that’s surprisingly hard to find, even at places known for their burgers. The sides held their own too. Both the fries and onion rings were fresh, crispy, and clearly made with care. They weren’t an afterthought, which says a lot about the overall quality of the kitchen. And speaking of quality—after I finished eating, I found out that the restaurant grinds its meat in-house every morning. That little detail explains a lot about the freshness and flavor of the burger. I even tried to dig into the secrets of their burger recipe, but the staff—who were incredibly friendly, by the way—kept those details locked up tight. Still, the service added to the experience. Everyone seemed genuinely happy to be there, and that attitude carries over to the energy of the restaurant. After 44 years of eating burgers all over the place, I can confidently say this one ranks at the very top of my list. Between the flavorful, juicy meat, the perfectly cooked bacon, and the welcoming atmosphere, this restaurant delivers a burger experience that’s hard to beat. I’ll absolutely be back—and next time, I might come hungry enough to try more of their menu.“

Yeah the management ruin the experience because the waitress aren't allowed to talk with you long and if they do they watch and watch making the experience suck but they do need to stop that and it's like they are jealous or something and they shouldn't have a restaurant like this if they cant deal with what the ladies have to do. They did seem afraid to talk too long, so pay attention guys they will ruin your fun. These ladies are hustling making money and if you don't like money then you are in tye wrong business. One of the young busboys will stay close to listen in but food is great ? Buffalo burger and fries are delicious ?

“Went thru drive thru. Overall good... A bit of a wait for the blizzards, ordered tacos, burger fries, drinks, that piece of our order came out right away. Lady at window was great just took longer than expected for the blizzards. Tropical blizzards always my fave♡ Food is good, tacos are so small tho for $10. Maybe add another taco..?“

“Just came to the Mercedes location the workers were great I feel that there pay is too little on what they have to do they go inside charge but I can’t give them a tip cause I don’t have a option on the receipt another thing is notice that a lot of the items have gone up in price if your gonna increase the prices increase the workers pay as well I use to work in the progreso location and it hasn’t changed where you put the large pan of water you cook up the meat and you put the meat in the water and you leave it there until somebody orders the meals then you just reheat the meat and you sell it not fresh at all you guys need to change that method your gonna get somebody sick or killed from food poisoning this is why I don’t ever get any burgers from stars cause of the way you cook them and people who are gonna read this it is the truth and I have friends who work there as well and tell me the same thing“

Anyway, just want to say that this location is very friendly ( way more than the company standard ). Valeria is a top notch manager, Maria the morning cashier/ order taker is also great ( you would think she is Customer Service Manager, yeah she Is that Good! ) This location is now My favorite WB. “This is not a five-star restaurant but it is certainly a five-star fast food restaurant. Like the Giants were before green took them down. You won't find any of McDonald's or Burger King's hockey puck bread at this place, nor will you find they're nasty Brown french fries that fall over from the weight of the Grease. NOT HERE. “The $25 special for two is good. The steak tasted good but had a lot of gristle. The chicken was very good. The side salads are huge! Service was also good. It took 30 minutes to get our entrée. Margaritas were excellent & happy hour price was extremely low. The only complaint for every Applebee's is the music is way too loud!!“
