“Stopped in for an early lunch. They are located in a strip center just off Stacy Rd. The place they are in was a pretty good burger place before. It sits 50 or so with a small outdoor patio and bar as soon as you walk in. It had just opened for the day so it was not busy at all. Server was very friendly and always close by if needed. I decided to go with the steak fajita nachos. They give you free chips and salsa to get started. Both are good and above average. Nachos came out quickly and it’s a good portion size. They come with sour cream, pico, and guacamole. The nachos are individually constructed. I prefer just a big pile of nachos where each bite is different. These were still better than average. I wasn’t blown away by them, but still happy. As mentioned there was plenty on the plate. These are not on the lunch menu so you pay dinner prices at $17.50. Overall it’s a good neighborhood place with very friendly service and above average food. I could see coming back although there are a ton of TexMex options within a few miles.“

“The Chefs Chicken Curry was amongst the best I have ever eaten. The Samosas where wonderfull, large well stuffed freshly cooked and the filling was delightfull, My wife had the Paner and she loved it, would say it is the best Indian cuisine outside of India :-)“

“This has been our go-to neighborhood Tex-Mex joint since moving to the area a year ago. Consistently solid food and service. The house frozen margarita ($12) is outstanding, includes a splash of Gran Gala on top, and is served in a beautiful glass. Just $8 during weekday happy hour ('til 6:30) and $6 all day Monday. The salsa is one of the best I've had. Tacos al Carbon, Chepa's tacos, and brisket enchiladas are always excellent. The only disappointment has been the enchiladas verdes with carnita meat (gristly and oily).
Service is friendly and efficient; a manager always seems to be present to ensure this. Atmosphere is better than most Mom & Pop Mexican restaurants.
If you pick up a To Go order, I would check it before leaving as we've had items omitted from orders in the past.“

“We (wife and I) were at Marble Dental two doors down yesetrday and decided to check out Rice Garden for the first time. Staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. My wife and I had the combo with meat and chicken (opted out of the shrimp) and with jalapenos in the brown rice. Very delicious.

The meal was more than ample for us to split. We also got two small bowls of the hot and sour soup ($2.99 each) and I must say it was the best hot and sour soup I have ever tasted/eaten. Very hearty and tasty. I'm thinking about it right now. Would be nice to have a bucket of it in the refrigerator at home to get through the cold winter days and nights. :-) Definitely will be back to Rice Garden.“

“Service was great sitting in the bar area. But, the air conditioning blowing straight on me wasn't exactly enjoyable. It was 43 degrees outside. Really? I wanted a warm meal and a warm place to dine. 😉
My salad and pasta was good. The breadsticks were overcooked/tough. Maybe that's a sign I shouldn't be eating comfort food.“

“I ordered food for 150 people for a celebration at my job. The manager, Zee, was fantastic to work with. He worked with me on the menu, options on pick-up or delivery, went over food allergies and specific details regarding vegetarian needs. He thought of everything I would need to know and helped me ensure our team had what they needed from a specific food perspective. I went over my needs for delivery and Zee not only met them but exceeded the timeframe of delivery considering the large food order. The food was fantastic. I didn't have a single complaint. As a matter of fact, everyone praised the food. Thanks Zee“

“This was one of the best salads I've ever eaten in my life. I'm not bullshitting. I am not a bot or some AI. I work hard for a living and I wanted something healthy for dinner and I tried this place. Hands down the best Salad! Everything was 100% fresh and full of flavor. I'm definitely gonna eat here again while in town for work.“

“We had an amazing meal from start to finish. The food was incredibly well prepared, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. What really stood out was the service. Wen, our server took the time to explain the dishes and gave great advice on how to enjoy our meal for the best possible experience before we even took the first bite. “I have eaten at the McKinney location several times and it is always awesome. Since I live closer to the Frisco location, I stopped today for take out. The food was not as good as the McKinney location. I always get the Teriyaki Chicken and today the sauce was not thick - like a glaze - as it is at the McKinney location. It was so thin it was like pouring water over the chicken. I was very disappointed! I hope the Frisco can do better with the sauce.“

“This is an acceptable economical Chinese restaurant. Some plates are better than others, but it hits the spot and I prefer this than a panda Express meal for sure. The ladies were super nice and got my food rather quick. I think it's a great value option.“

“Novel experience of piping hot soup with delicious ingredients. There are 3 hotpot options that can be customized to be vegetarian straight from their automated ordering system which was reassuring. Smaller setting, had more of a diner than a restaurant feel. Staff was super helpful in choosing menu items. We had the mushroom hot pot and would definitely recommend.“

“My husband and I went there today, January 10, 2026, for lunch. The young lady that was working at approximately 1:30 behind the register was so professional, sweet, helpful and friendly. She made such an impression on me that, as soon as we got in the car, I said to my husband that I was going to leave a review. All too often people complain about bad service. I think it’s just important to recognize exceptional service. It’s unfortunate that I can’t remember her name, but if she was working 1:30 today & management sees this, please know how awesome she is.“
