Whataburger should be completely ashamed with themselves right now. Temperatures are now at Record highs above 105 And Store 596 of a 1604 West in San Antonio hasn’t had AC since May and we’re only supplied with portable units. The store is completely unbearable, but I commend the staff that was working diligently to prepare food in this building come on Whataburger these are your employees that give many hours to you. They should at least work in bearable work conditions....read full review
Great food and service overall You can tell they really put in the effort to make sure everything is done right!
I’ve lived in the DFW area for six years. In that time I’ve opened four restaurants and I’m already working on a fifth. I managed the Firehouse Subs in Prosper and I was on the opening team for Urban Cookhouse at the Gates of Prosper, so I spend a lot of time in that shopping center. I have never worked at Whataburger. Not a day. I just work around it and I eat there enough to know when a store is drowning and when a store is finally getting its crap together.

Whataburger offers large, slightly salty burgers at a good price, with the Patty Melt being a popular choice. The staff is friendly and polite, and the restaurant is kept very clean. The morning crew provides excellent customer service, while the nighttime staff, often high school students, sometimes lack enthusiasm. The food quality is consistently great, and well-made fries are a highlight. The location can get busy, especially during peak times, but online ordering is available. Customers enjoy the fast service and generous portions, making it a reliable place for delicious fast food.
