“Ummm. Where do I start. Never in a million years would I have thought I would be writing a review praising Sonic…I just had this huge misconception about their food.

Saw the reviews for their new smash burgers and decided to give em a try. My sister swears by Sonic and so off we went. Let me start by saying it was absolutely delicious. Ordered a double cheeseburger, added tomatoes, extra pickle and lettuce and it was a messy, juicy, mouth watering experience. I recommend they wrap in foil like their other burgers though vs a box. And the bun….so darn good. Their French fries were perfectly salted and I love crinkle cut fries. Both were served hot!

My sis ordered the double cheeseburger with bacon. Loved it. She loves their mozzarella sticks.

We literally ate here twice in one week….both times super fast service and the burgers were delicious. Head scratcher.“

“This store has the friendly ladies working there! I suspect they were recruited from a certain chicken chain ... Just kidding. I know they are TEXAS friendly. This is the ONE Sonic that can take a big order in the drive through and DOESN'T mess it up! Seriously, I'll leave Newark and drive further into Boyd to go to this store instead of the other locations. Plus, they know what a Pup Cup is and who it's for!“

“**edit: check your food before leaving!!! Charged for items that are MISSING** and we have a 17 hour drive and dont have time to turn around to give them a chance to fix it. But I'd also be scared to let them fix it because it may take another 20 minutes.

Food was fine as far as not having expectations for a cheap fast food spot. Don't come to THIS location if you have somewhere to be, you'll be waiting a ridiculous amount past the time your food should be ready. And I dont like that they have people set up at the tables to sell stuff to every car in the stalls and drive through. So we are dodging people selling stuff while trying to get an update from staff on where our food is because its NOT busy, no reason for that amount of time.“
