“I stopped by Tom’s Donuts at 5:00 a.m., and I can honestly say they lived up to the hype. The atmosphere was welcoming, the customer service was outstanding, and the staff was incredibly friendly, even that early in the morning.

I don’t usually spend much time in this area, but I had heard that Tom’s Donuts was one of the best donut shops in town, and they absolutely did not disappoint. The donuts were fresh, delicious, and clearly made with quality ingredients. Every bite was soft, flavorful, and worth the visit.

Sadly we made it shortly before closing, but the customer service was still top notch. Also, the owner is my kind of business owner - she was mopping the floors herself when I walked in, and knew my business had tagged hers recently. We ordered some special treats that were of course delicious, entered the raffle for the Advent calendar (guessing we didn’t win), and got my Passport card stamped. “I would love to gatekeep this place but I feel like the cat is out of the bag. The owner is incredibly humble and the nicest person I have ever met (even while attending a very busy establishment). Long wait times are sometimes/often an occurrence but we're no quitters and it's worth it. Corn in a cup or on the cob are the best! The raspados are also good especially the natural flavors like the home made Tamarindo flavor. Highly recommend, every visit even with the wait times are 10/10.“

“I first had Sweet Frog when I lived in the DC area. I was so excited when we moved to DFW to see that sweet frog is here! Unfortunately I’d been to a couple other locations that weren’t great. (Seemed like they weren’t cared for, messy topping area and the frozen yogurt was runny and not cold enough, dining room not kept up on either.) HOWEVER this Keller location is AMAZING and exactly as Sweet Frog should be! Luckily we live very close and come all the time!“

“3 / 5 ⭐️stars due to poor customer service Curlys has become one of our favorite spots for an ice cream (custard) treat or a chili dog. The past two times we have come (in as many weeks) we have received subpar service…..tonight it was actually rude. My husband walked to the window to pick up our order and was greeted with ‘What do you want/why are you here’ . He is too nice to say anything and just explained he was there to pick up our chili dogs (we placed the order online). While eating our dessert, my spoon broke, so I walked up to the window to get a new spoon and the young woman who slid the door open hurriedly and asked me ‘what do you need ma’am”. I was truly shocked at her tone and the choice of words. After a few seconds I revived and told her ‘that was an interesting to ask if you can help a customer’. She gave me the spoon and screamed out the name for the next person. I asked what her name was before we left and found out her name was Michelle. Not sure of the woman‘s name who spoke to my husband rudely.“

“Stopped in with my kiddos for a fun midday summer break treat. We had had some donuts from them at an event a week or two prior and I was surprised that donuts could be that good, so I thought this would be a nice treat. Initially, I found it hard to order because I’m used to choosing a donut out of a case, but after kind of randomly picking a couple of options I see that you can’t really go wrong with any of the choices. To say I was blown away was an understatement. I am a big donut fan and I didn’t even know they could be THIS GOOD. My kids don’t really have many standards when it comes to sugar but even they could tell the difference. My littlest actually said how amazing they were probably twenty times! We underestimated how many we needed (we got 12 for 4 of us) and we actually ordered 12 more, which was plenty. I fell on the sword and ate the ones the kids couldn’t finish. These are described as mini donuts but I found them more to be donut hole sized, a one bite thing. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING and worth the cost! The staff was extremely hospitable and friendly, we felt very welcomed and we even stayed and played one of the games they had. It was a very pleasant stop for me and the kids (and many times together 24/7 this summer are anything but pleasant, so that’s saying a lot!). It’s a little far from us or I think we’d be back weekly, but we’ll definitely recommend and be back when we can!“

“Under new ownership! The change is amazing and definitely noticeable. A much needed new scene for Watauga. Very welcoming and inviting for any age groups. They have over 20+ flavors of ice creams as well as over 20+ types of mix ins. Also the CLEANEST food establishment that I’ve ever been to. The staffs are super friendly and clean, wipes everything down, from the doors you enter/exit, to the tables AND chairs you sit at. 10/10 experience. Delicious, fresh flavors. My go to is either the banana toffee or the butter pecan pretzel toffee. Butter Pecan Ice Cream or Banana Ice Cream w/ caramel and Heath bar, and add pretzels for the sweet and salty combo! Yummm. If you are ever on Denton Hwy, or going to target, you literally cannot miss them! They’ve got a new sign to establish new ownership.“

It was a couple minutes before she finished what looked like a very delightful order for the couple ahead of us. My sons ordered a #9 takilocos and my daughter had a mangonada and there was a little confusion as to what a takilocos was supposed to be. (And to be fair it's kinda open to interpretation even on the internets) so I kindly explained what he wanted and we were rung up for another.Very well done btw. Thanks again. “My wife and I first went to Braum's to get ... ice cream. Then one day we tried their milk because my wife had to increase her calcium levels due to the cancer that was killing her. Anyway, we tried a gallon and couldn't believe the difference in taste over what we usually bought at the local grocery store or big supermarket. Braum's has the best dairy, ice cream and other related milk products. Plus they have a small selection of ham steaks and eggs. The milk though will make you a believer in good quality dairy at a great price. Sometime they have sales on their milk.

My son and his family came down this year from Oklahoma City and I had him try some Brahms ice cream. He couldn't believe the taste! It was so good him and I both finished off a half gallon ourselves and split the other half gallon with his wife and little son. Braum's products from the dairy side tastes just like they came from the dairy. As a matter of fact if you're ever in Ohio near Antioch College you might want to check out the dairy farm up there that has also a roadside creamery. I can't remember the name right now my goodness it's been so many decades since I've been home but give it a try.“
