I have family in the Dallas area, and when I come visit I sometimes have time to kill. I haven't found any better place to do so than Chase Place. Just an unassuming little spot in a strip mall, but it's everything I could possibly want in a gin joint. The bartenders are well-experienced and affable (when appropriate), the people who frequent tend to be working class drinking folk (or at least interesting), and you can actually have meaningful conversations with your bar neighbors....read full review
This place has been here for years! I used to come here in my twenties and now I'm 60 and it's still here! No doubt because of fabulous service comfortable atmosphere and friendly customers. If you're a smoker you can smoke in here! A big plus for us old school types, Nancy is friendly and exceptionally professional she knows your drink and keeps busy in the whole times but never lets a customer want for attention. Hadn't stop by in a year or so as just too smoky for us. When out and about we decided to stop for a quick cocktail and some Draggle drop. Service is always the best here nice pours and friendly bartender. We were early so not too smoky.
