Me and the wife came here for the first time on a Friday night. The band was packing to leave and it was only 10:00.Was a little disappointed about that. But we stayed and had a couple of appetizers, which was pretty good. I ordered an Old Fashioned Cocktail with Buffalo Trace/ smoked it was very good (had 2). The service was also very good at the bar area. Will be back again to hear a band. Hopefully.
Great meetup for family and friends. The atmosphere is friendly, relaxed, and charming. Our group tried a wide assortment of dishes (shepherd's pie, Wellington, Bangers and mash, Scottish eggs, artichoke dip, and new menu addition apple/pear cobbler) only criticism was wellington was bit dry, but a request for a side sauce was generously supplied and made the dish spot-on. Booked Gillespie’s for a work dinner for 15 and I would return for sure for both work or personal meals. Space to accommodate a large party or plenty of space at the bar top for one person looking to quench their thirst and hunger.Great service while we were there and of course an excellent meal to match.
