“First time was the best time, but then we went a second time and it was even better. Service was great. The food, Chefs Kiss👌🏼 Prices are great and well, we will be back for sure. I had the brisket nachos and Geez, they were amazing. Second time I got the chicken flautas plate. My husband loved it and the adult drinks, the pina colada on the rocks was delicious. Try them out and you’ll be back for more.“

“I came here to eat after a long exhausting day of work. All of the employees were very welcoming and kind. But there was one in particular, she was so nice and kind and she also seemed a little bit shy. She came and brought me my food, they forgot the lid to my bowl because I ordered it to go and she gladly got it for me. She's the most beautiful person I've ever seen.“

“Great place! The plating of the food was fantastic, as were its flavors! Relaxed, inviting atmosphere and gracious staff. Gorgeous interior. Total package. It's not always easy to make a "fancy" looking plate with tex-mex... Very nicely done.👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Diverse menu but not TOO much to get lost your first time. “My husband and I came in for lunch today and we absolutely LOVED it. These two plates with a regular and a large drink was $31.80. I would say it's reasonably priced. I got the birria taco platter and my husband got the taco platter. The rice was tasty and the birria tacos were some of the best ones I've had. The restaurant looked very clean which is also an important factor for us. The service was quick I'd like to say we waited around 10 minutes. They have great sauce selection, super delicious. Will definitely be coming back.“

“If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food (not Tex-Mex!), this is the real deal. Every dish we’ve tried is flavorful, fresh, and made with love. We ordered out for our staff, and everyone raved about how delicious it was, true comfort food done right.
They do get very busy, which says a lot about how good they are, so I definitely recommend ordering ahead to avoid a long wait. Worth every bite!“

“We love Mi Cocina (Richardson)…..ate there twice this week!! The food is consistently great and the Mambo Taxi margaritas are absolutely the best. They have the best chips and salsa in town! The wait staff is friendly, courteous and efficient.“
