“It was lovely. It's a smaller place than expected, so getting a table was a bit of a challenge. If you go when it's cold, dress warmly. There is a closed in patio that's heated, but still cold. The food and service were topnotch. The friends we met had expected a place to visit, have food and drinks, and play a few rounds of dominoes. The first part worked, the games while we had a second drink, not so much. For a place to hang out, eat, and drink, I highly recommend it.“

“Came here for the first time on a Sunday morning around 11:30 AM. Mimosas - Standard mimosa. No strange aftertaste. Decent strength in alcohol content. Huevos Rancheros - Eggs were cooked perfectly - nice & runny yolk with whites cooked thoroughly. Tostadas were very crispy, but slightly overcooked & a touch burnt. Served with refried black beans spread over the tostadas, a generous, spread of salsa, and cotija cheese. Served with a side of rancheros sauce which tasted like salsa verde. Brunch potatoes - Lightly salted. Cooked nicely - crispy on the outside & soft, fluffy, & tender on the inside. Doesn’t get soggy despite sitting on top of salsa. Would have liked more seasoning, but still good. Brunch Burger - Like biscuits & gravy, but on a burger. Flavor is good - very tasty. Eggs were cooked perfectly. Habanero Margarita - actually uses a pretty good reposado tequila - Mi Compo. Very smooth & slightly spicy. Hot Mexican Chili Arbol Wings to go - Came with a hand sanitizing wipe. Medium crispy on the outside. Good flavor. Overall, we had a very nice experience. We sat at the bar, and our bartender, Kinsley, was very nice, personable, & very knowledgeable of menu despite only being here for a month. They also have a happy hour between 4-7 PM, so I’d like to try out their happy hour. I’d recommend & I’d come back.“

“11/10 ✨ Our company has our annual Year End party at Chelsea Corner. This is my first year having to put it together, but when I say “put it together,” that was ALL them! I selected options for food, budget, drink etc… and they did the rest. They were in constant communication with me from day one and made an absolutely beautiful, fun event for us last night. I can’t say enough about ARMANDO! He is an angel. He is so talented and great at being an event manager. He was there for our event and was checking in with me the whole night, refilling drinks, making sure no one was getting too out of line etc. we also had a guest who needed a gluten free option which was not provided with our buffet, so he had the kitchen whip something up within TEN minutes of the request. All of the staff were top tier as well. Thank you SO much for such an amazing evening. You are all the absolute prime example of great customer service & events. 💕“

“We just had the most wonderful experience at Hillside Tavern. The food was phenomenal and the atmosphere was chill enough that we were able to bring our 11-year-old niece to eat with us. “My husband was here for an armwrestling event and when the transactions didn’t match up with what he authorized I gave them a call. The manager and woman who looked into this were great but the waitress that added her own gratuity to a less than 30$ single person check should be ashamed of herself. Unfortunately I’ve come to hear this from others about people tipping themselves so just a fair warning to check your bill before paying for anything.“

“So We went to watch the Chargers vs. Raiders. The bartender came and greeted us and offered us water and a menu. Thank you! I ordered the chicken wings, they were horrible ? over cooked, no seasonings, and to make it worse, the fries were sold separately, but they were fresh, hot, and seasoned. The drinks were on point! Cheers ? We will be back, I'll just eat beforehand.

Kid-friendliness: My son had the hot dog ? chips/Sprite $10 way over priced, but like I said, next time we'll eat beforehand.

“I discovered this place a few years ago when I moved into the neighboring apartments and instantly became a regular.

The patio is great for drinking/dining and games (they have giant Jenga blocks). Sometimes they have live music. Plenty of TV's indoor and out. Plus billiards, cornhole, darts, beer pong and a couple arcade games.

I'm a big fan of their quesadillas, fries, fried pickles and cheese curds.

If you're in Austin Ranch I recommend stopping by. You can even bring your pup!“
