I got the 3 taco plate lil pricey for a typical mexican spot on taco Tuesday but I know why when I ate my 1st bite I fell in love the rice and beans hit the spot with full of flavor just incredible. I drove 1 hour for a job and hit this spot and let me say its saved inn my Google maps as favorites they hit the spot for tacos, beans and rice and im not a rice guy“

They’re always open early enough to stop by for the great breakfast tacos and still make it to work on time with their quick service! Because this place is so great you’ll run I’m to a line that they always handle in great speedy service! If I could give them six stars I would!“

“So this place is good. It could be a little hard to find parking if its busy. The vibe is OK there is tv to see games. There us not alot of seating but they do have inside and outside seating. The times I have been i have been able to find a seat. So the food I would say the beans and rice I have had a couple of times and they have been hit and miss I guess depends who makes them. Also from the tacos I had the chicken was well cooked but not very impressive, the carnitas tacos were pretty good and nice portion. The troppo was really good and lightly crispy which I like. Also the steak taco also was good and lightly crispy. But the one that impressed me the most was the green chicharron was really good some of the chicharron was still abit crunchy which I like. So I really recommend that one and also extra points for giving a chile toreado and grilled onions really good. So this place is good its pretty fast and it has pretty good food over all. It's a great to go and good to just a quick bite.“

“Very first time at this restaurant. Tortas are the specialty here. I recommend a torta de jamon and tacos de asada. The portion is really big and worth the money. You can order fries on the side. For your sweet tooth, the churros are hot and fresh!“

“I searched for a pupusa place near me. I came to this establishment and I'm glad I did. This is my first visit. The customer service was great and the owner was patient with me and explained some of the items on the menu. I tried the chicharron taco and pupusa. I chose to dine in. My food was served hot and it was delicious!!

Also make sure when you order anything on the side or an extra ingredient make sure they added it or that you received it. Food is great tasting! “After driving past this restaurant countless times, I finally decided to stop in for some tacos. It was usually empty, but tonight felt like the perfect time to give it a try. I ordered 8 tacos (4 fajita and 4 cachete), all served with homemade tortillas. I expected the usual taco size, but I was pleasantly surprised – these were much bigger than anticipated, as the pictures would show! The flavor was amazing, and I thoroughly enjoyed every bite. Next time, I’ll probably stick to just 4 tacos, given their size. The restaurant was quiet when I went around 9:30 pm (they close at 10 pm), and it had a cozy, family-owned feel. “Don't be fooled by Taqueria Charly's unassuming gas station storefront, because they serve some of the best traditional mexican style street food in DFW. They have all the classic offerings, and they are all delicious. Very tasty salsa verde and salsa rojas as well!“

“Came here to scale a couple of weeks ago. The scale is at an awkward place but totally doable. When I went in to get my ticket, I was faced with the heavenly smells of tacos and there was thres leches cake. I may have spent more than planned, but it was totally worth every penny.
I wanted nachos for later, but I didn't want them to be soggy. The wonderful lady at the taco stand boxed all the ingredients up separately for me. All in all, I left as a fat, happy middle-aged kid.“

“This place is hard to find. Not only is there no sign of their logo anywhere visible in front of the cashier booth, but there's no sign outside of the shady gas station it shares. I almost didn't order, since the interior was quite abysmal, but was clean. It's a huge turn off to see the prepared meat sitting in trays, but I was already committed to trying this place, considering the reviews were so good . The lady at the register was super nice, and was bilingual. I was able to practice my order in Spanish, and she responded back in English. I saw a sign apologizing for their increase in prices. I was kind of shocked, because the tacos are already under $2 a piece. This place is quite a bargain compared to other places around Dallas.

I ended up getting three tacos, all on corn. Not only did they give you cilantro and onion, what they give you half a grilled jalapeno and grilled onions as well. Every meat I had was delicious! The only real complaint I can give is that there's no charred exterior, since it was all sitting in a steamer pan. But the lack of charred texture is made up by the moist, flavorful meat. The machete and pastor were both fantastic, but the mole de puerco really stood out to me. The mole one had tons of flavor, and it seems like they make the mole in house. The corn tortillas themselves were soft, but sturdy. The salsa verde and rojo are both fine additions, although I will say the pastor and mole de puerco overpowered any sauce I put on top of it. Overall an affordable and delicious meal.“

“The Birria Tacos were perfect. Most places think birria= too much cheese greasy mess. These tacos were perfectly filled with tender beef and cheese, grilled perfectly in a consume dipped tortilla. Managed to dip my taco three times and it never fell apart, thats right I double dip and I’m not sorry. Onions , cilantro, salsa, were all fresh. Even the lime slices were big and fresh, i didn’t need a vice to get juice out of them. Will definitely be visiting again to try the rest of the menu!“
