Charlie’s is one of those spots that proves convenience doesn’t have to come at the cost of quality. Being located right inside Walmart makes it incredibly easy to grab a fresh, hot meal while running errands, and honestly, that alone already sets them apart. Charley's Cheesesteaks in San Antonio is highly praised for its friendly staff and delicious food. Customers appreciate the welcoming and clean environment, with many noting quick service and prompt delivery of their orders. The restaurant is especially favored for its cheesesteaks, including the Regular Philly Cheese Steak, which many find to be very good and reminiscent of home, even for those who have tried multiple places before. The staff is consistently friendly and attentive, making customers feel valued. While some mention that the food can be a bit pricey and that the small sandwiches may have less meat, overall, the quality is considered far better than average fast food. Special recommendations include Cajun fries with ranch, which are a favorite for some. There are occasional comments about limited condiments and the importance of ordering the regular size for more meat, but these do not detract from the overall positive experience. Friendly service, fast delivery, and tasty meals make Charley's Cheesesteaks a popular spot for those craving a satisfying cheesesteak experience.
