Stopped in for dinner and had a great meal. Maria R. was helpful and knowledgeable about the menu offering great recommendations. The atmosphere is cozy and pleasant. The dishes were delicious as were the drinks recommendations.

La Cantina is a recently opened Mexican restaurant that has quickly gained a great reputation for its food, service, and atmosphere. The new owners, who took over two weeks ago, have created a welcoming and friendly environment, with staff that are described as super friendly, helpful, and full of energy. Customers have praised the staff for their excellent customer service and personal attention, with one owner even coming to check on guests personally.
The restaurant offers a variety of delicious dishes, including beef fajitas, chicken enchiladas, shrimp quesadilla, and different types of nachos. Many reviews highlight the freshness and full flavor of the food, with some dishes like the shrimp quesadilla being called the best bite of Mexican food ever. The birria nachos and birria loaded fries are also highly recommended, with generous toppings and lots of cheese. Although some dishes like the Milenesa Torta and Cesar salad received mixed reviews, overall, the food is well-liked for its taste and presentation.
The drinks menu features outstanding margaritas, including margaritas and Micheladas, with special salt and tajín rims that add to the flavor. The atmosphere is described as beautiful, family-friendly, and perfect for both casual dining and relaxing at the bar while watching sports. The restaurant’s decor is noted for being nice and well-decorated, creating a cozy and inviting vibe.
Despite some quieter times, customers feel confident about returning and recommending La Cantina for both eating and drinking. Overall, it is a place known for good food, friendly staff, and a pleasant environment that encourages guests to come back again.
