Antojitos El Alamo Restaurant offers delicious breakfast tacos, with the potato and egg being a standout. Tucked away near Harlandale High School, this spot serves up old-school homemade Mexican food, including tasty tortillas made by a talented cook. The chicken fajitas are well-seasoned and not dry, while the bean and cheese tacos have a good taste. The chicharon in salsa may be an acquired taste, but the green salsa option could be a better fit. Although the tortillas are on the harder side, the generous taco size makes up for it. The service is friendly and welcoming, with staff willing to help with menu choices. The food is fresh, and the meals are made with care. Customers appreciate the unique glasses for drinks, the friendly staff, and the overall good food. Despite being a little crowded, the quality of the food makes it worth a visit. The family-run atmosphere and homely vibe make Antojitos El Alamo Restaurant a hidden gem in San Antonio, offering tasty dishes and a warm environment.
