If you’re expecting a brand new modern restaurant, don’t bother. It has the feel of your grandparents kinda establishment but the service was great, the raw oysters are shucked right in front of you and all the food tasted very fresh! Went to a Mr. Cranny’s the other day and this little gem will be my choice over the chain restaurant from now on!
Dry Dock Oyster Bar offers a variety of fresh seafood dishes like Jalapeños stuffed with crabmeat cheese, fisherman’s platter, and Dry Dock’s sampler. The restaurant features a small dining area and mainly bar seating, with an impressive patio and bar area. It serves must-try items like crawfish, fresh raw oysters, and whole catfish. Customers enjoy the friendly staff and great atmosphere, with favorites like gumbo and boudin being recommended. While some find the prices high, referring to them as "market prices," others appreciate the delicious fresh oysters and great lunch specials. The oysters are shucked right in front of guests, adding to the experience. The restaurant is also kid-friendly, offering a kid menu, high chairs, and booster seats.
