My granddaughter loves the potato soup at La Madeleine so we went there today. We had dessert as well which pushed us all over the edge ?. We enjoyed our lunch and the ambiance which includes old wooden tables, a warm fire and countryside pictures of France. They have a delicious looking pastry case which is very enticing and we couldn’t resist ?.
The beginning started out not so good, the manager and supervisor stepped in and the end turned out great. I recommend trying this restaurant. Great customer service.We ordered the omelet with cheese, mushrooms, and spinach and the grilled cheese with Basil Tomato soup. The cheese in the omelet was not melted at alll. What a nice morning we had at La Madeleine today. We stopped in at about 8 am for coffee and a pastry. We were promptly greeted and waited on by the friendly girl working. Every employee we encountered was polite & seemed to really enjoy working there! That is a rare find after Covid changed our world. The manager was present and greeted each of his employees and customers as they came in. Great job! We look forward to returning.
