A Taste of MEXICO?? is always gonna start in San Antonio or the Valley in TEXAS. Yes, real homemade Mexican food. The atmosphere was great, nothing fancy but greater than a hole in the wall restaurant. lol, the only problem we had was either our waitress or the cook. we got the wrong order twice, and then we had to wait longer for them to correct both orders. Stopped in during a lunch after finding myself west of downtown. I had become aware of this place via social media and some word of mouth. The atmosphere was nice and friendly with plenty of space for a casual meal. But beyond that I'd have to say I wasn't too impressed. The mini tacos were greasy and chewy, the drinks had way, way too much sugar! Beans were for sure from a can, and the potatoes for my tacos were undercooked. The service was great because the cook actually cooked my eggs the way I wanted them. They also made the country ranchera for me because they didn't have it on the menu. Shout-out to the cook !!!
