Lydia's Mexican Restaurant serves great food at unbeatable prices. The generous portions often require a child's plate to finish, and the service is consistently excellent, with just 2 cooks and 1 lady running the front of the house. The menu offers a variety of delicious options, including Winnie and egg on corn and bean tacos, carne guisada tacos, and pork chop plates with potatoes and beans. The puffy tacos are a highlight, and the fresh coffee and tea are a nice touch. Despite the smaller, older building needing some work, the food is exceptional, making it a must-visit destination. The prices are more than fair, and though the ambiance is lacking, the food is a well-kept secret worth discovering.
