Mario’s made custom sugar cookies for our wedding favors and they did absolutely amazing. Very easy to work with and a reasonable price. They were delicious and a big hit with our guests!
I'm from a small southwest Texas town and I've lived in San Antonio for a few years, since I've moved here I've been looking for a bakery that tastes as good as my small-town bakery back home. Mario's Bakery is the only bakery that I've tasted that has pan dulce that tastes like home. I'll drive from the north side of San Antonio just to buy pan dulce here. So, far no one in San Antonio beats Mario's bakery. The best!

Mario's Bakery is a popular spot for sweet treats and baked goods. Their doughnuts are amazing, and the sweet bread is a favorite among customers. The bakery offers a large variety of pastries, especially in the morning, and has affordable prices that leave customers satisfied. Many visitors praise the fresh and soft sweet bread, which is often cheaper and better than elsewhere—sometimes costing just 80 cents compared to $1.35 at other bakeries. The bakery has good service, easy access to Hwy 90, and convenient parking, making it easy to visit any time of day. Despite occasional short-staffing, the extended hours, including a 9pm closing, make it a great place for treats. Customers also enjoy the variety of baked goods, including conchas, donuts, empanadas, and homemade tortillas, which keep them coming back for more.
