Great place for food. The service is a little slow at times but the food makes up for that. The owners are really nice and helpful. Wish they were open later hours after 2pm but other than that it is great.
I been going to this place since I was a kid.. my parents and grandparents use to go here before they passed.. before it was even call Rubens cafe.. this place is not a restaurant it's a landmark kinda like the Alamo.. and a staple for GREAT FOOD!! Do yourself a favor just GO!!?

Best carne guisada with cheese tacos in town. Hands down...I'm very picky when it comes to carne guisada. There's no in between. It's either good or bad...Simply amazing...The meat just falls to pieces when you grab it with your fingers...They've mastered it...And no fat whatsoever on the meat...Crispy beef tacos are really good as well...And medudo to die for...WoW!!!
