When we were seated, we wanted to watch a certain game and the manager, Laura really went out of her way, bent over backwards to ensure they found the game(s) we wanted to watch, then ensured that the games would stay on ! The waitress who waited on us ( can't remember her name ) was exactly like the manager, helpful, courteous and quick with her service, thus resulting in making this our favorite location for watching sports with the drinks and menu items to order, with this type service, we will always make this our number 1 location !! “5 Monkeys... nice, funny name, isn't it? I've tried this place a few times now, and honestly, it keeps amazing me every single visit. It's a perfect spot to hang out with friends as well as family. The staff is very well-mannered and attentive, they keep checking on you without being overbearing, which is really nice. The Long Island Iced Tea is one of my go-to drinks here, and it's amazing. They also offer complimentary nuts (cashews, peanuts, and chickpeas) which are super tasty and perfect when you want a light snack along with your drink. They opened just a month or two ago, and we've already been here around 6 times, that itself says a lot. Food highlights: Chicken Wings - I call them jumbo chicken wings. I love the garlic parmesan, and my wife loves the buffalo garlic parmesan. 5/5 Chicken Nuggets - Nice, juicy, and crispy. 5/5 Loaded Fries - My absolute favorite appetizer. 10/5 Grilled Chicken Melt - The bread and chicken are sooo good. 5/5 My friend tried the Pitawich (falafel & chicken) and said it was really good. Grilled Chicken Platter - Amazing combination of basmati rice, fries, salad, and sauce. 5/5 My friends also tried the Touchdown Lamb Platter and enjoyed it. Portion sizes, especially for the appetizers, are very generous. If you're looking for good food, good drinks, and a great atmosphere, this is definitely a place to try. They also have hookah, we didn't get a chance to try it yet. On a lighter note , the only small request would be better lighting so we can take nicer pictures of the food... haha! San Antonio badly needed a place like this with good drinks and food, and we finally got it. Perfect spot to watch games and chill. Highly recommended!“

I was outside listening to 210 Guitars performing, great two piece acoustic, Bryan and Greg were playing! Had some delicious chicken tenders w/fries and buckets of bud light were very reasonably priced! Bartenders were having ugly sweater night and they were hilarious, definitely will visit again! “My Husband and I went to pockets last night and let me just start off by saying we couldn’t have been happier and had a better time, CJ was absolutely fantastic. Drinks were amazing never left half way through, food was hot and accurate, my husband is deaf so when he started to sign to me what he wanted and the bartender/manager KNEW what he wanted he took a moment and he said this is where we will come every time we go out. CJ was spectacular, even with how busy she was we never felt left on a back burner, the only issue were a couple of fights breaking out but even than CJ was right there to make sure it stopped and everyone felt safe. A1 employee 👍👍 will be coming back and will be bringing our family and friends.“

“The Bend is a super chill bar to go to at anytime of the day. Always very friendly bartenders. Smoking is restricted to the outside, but part of the bar is hybrid (inside/outside). The smokers love to sit there and of course all the smoke blows inside. So, it seems like you can smoke indoors, because you're hit with the smell of smoke immediately when you enter the bar. It's not so bad when the other hybrid doors are open. Karaoke with Toby on Tuesdays and Thursdays is awesome as well!“

When I told her the order was wrong, and I asked her for a manager, and she had a nasty attitude as she mumbled something under her breath about me to another server. It wasn’t worth arguing or question what she said. She waiting for me to argue with her, but I wasn’t gonna argue. Manager correct the order. That’s all that matters.“
