Taqueria Datapoint #2-Zarzamora Street Location is a cute little taqueria on the corner of Zarazamora and Fredericksburg rd. The food is very authentic and tastes like home. It is described as good old home cooking. The meat is tender and tasty, and the refried beans are soo delicious. The salsa when you sit down is pretty darn good too. The service is exceptional, and the staff is polite. Many regulars come in and the staff knows them by name and what they want to eat. The portions are somewhat generous and the pricing is pretty fair. However, some customers experienced irregular service, incomplete orders, and a wait of about 20 minutes for breakfast. One order for a #2 Asada la Mexicana was a favorite, while another noted a very small portion of egg for a $2.45 taco. The restaurant is not recommended for vegetarians since most food is meat heavy, but there are a few options on the breakfast menu. It is a place to become a regular in, and a perfect last meal before leaving San Antonio.
