Today they brought an outstanding brisket meal served with the best potato salad ever, their signature beans, rice & trimmings. “If I’m going to a hole in the wall taqueria all the way in San Benito…you better believe it’s because the food is worth it! While the bistek tacos can have a little bit of pieces of fat here and there, the complimentary charro beans make up for that. The charro bean flavor is delicious and the salsas add on that extra heat without losing flavor. But what you really want to do is go in the morning and get their Leo’s Especial. 10.99 for 4 fat (and yummy) barbacoa tacos made with homemade corn tortillas! and a bowl of - that’s right, BOWL not cup! - yummy menudo. While the menudo is good, I cannot get over the amazing barbacoa tacos! Service is okay and so is atmosphere but honestly you’ll forget about all that once you try the food.”

“Amazing small home town feel with really good food and AMAZING CAKE! The owner was friendly and helpful and a great host. Youll feel the love in the service and food here. I had wings and enjoyed the mildly spicy Brendas sauce wings. Garlic parm wings were also good and the fries are thick and crispy.”

This location is different tho, every order I've placed online is always correct and looks like they took their time making it. If you're gonna go to any of the subways in San Benito this is the one to go to.”

“We're from Houston and stopped here for breakfast. Highly recommend it! Very authentic Mexican breakfast and huge homemade flour tortillas! Service was great too! Little hole in the wall, and by far the best! Family of 4 well portioned plates for $34! Cant beat that!”

“I live in Brownsville, but I prefer this Starbucks location to any of our Brownsville locations. They're good at giving you what you ordered and we'll remake your drink if it was not made correctly. The only thing is that the online ordering ahead doesn't necessarily mean that they actually make your drink ahead of time. There have been many times where they don't make the drink until I actually arrive there, which defeats the purpose of ordering the drink ahead of time to skip the wait.”

But, everytime we get our drinks they have very little ice so I ask for extra ice so that we can get a bit more but they fill the cup all the way to the top.. 😆 🤷🏻‍♀️ This past time I asked for extra ice in my drink and light ice in my husband's drink so they wouldn't give him less drink. Bad idea. I give up.”

“Staff was very nice and helpful even tho they were in the middle of making a huge order for pickup I think it was around 100 subs they still had our food ready fast and never made us feel like we were a bother or in the way. Some places treat customers poorly even if nobody else is in so it was cool to see them being so nice and professional considering the circumstances.”
