“Gem in San Eli. Feels like someplace else a home away from home. The hospitality is outstanding. The attention each customer gets it's beautiful. The owner and family are great people. We just stopped for a coffee but left us with new friends to visit. Wow!“

“It was my first time visiting Ambers Coffee Bar. I found the place extremely adorable and cozy. It was empty when I arrived and was right away greeted by staff. They were very friendly and willing to make my coffee of choice even though they didn’t have it on the menu. Coffee was delicious, I also ordered a chocolate muffin which was also very good. If you’re in the horizon area or live in this area, please visit Amber’s Coffee Bar and support their small local business ?Vegetarian options: They have coffee and pastries.Parking: There is plenty of parking in shopping center.Kid-friendliness: They have tons of yummy pastries to try.“

“Tried this place a year after the rest of the state had stopped masking and they wouldn't serve me, but I decided to give them another chance. 4.5 stars overall. Very pleasantly surprised. Great food, great prices, great service. Small but not cozy. Wish it was a little roomier because I think they could swing it. I will definitely return.“

“The FLAVORS!!!! The food!!! The staff!!!I cannot express how awesome this place is!!!!My book club met there on Saturday (3/2/24). They were absolutely welcoming and it really felt like home. The dishes are made by one of the owners (Melissa). We later found out she holds a class once a month to teach how to make pottery.I had a Topo Chico with lavender syrup….if a dream was in a cup, it’s that drink. I had the Olihongo dish with the lion’s mane “steak”. It’s a vegetarian dish, but let me say that I am not a vegetarian. It was so delicious I second guessed me eating meat ever again lol . We got to speak to Gabe & Melissa at the end of the night and we’re learning more about their heritage, the Piro. Gabe & Melissa do stay true to their traditions of their heritage and the food is on par with what they wanted to share with the community. They do close on certain days to give availability to the community to use their space for their own endeavors (must contact in advance for information). The story behind the Abuela dessert is one to definitely touch your heart. Delicious for sure and definitely made with love to honor her memory. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, this is a place to impress with their food and atmosphere. The wait staff is amazing and they really handle everything with care. A true gem in the heart of the lower valley!“

“Cool dive spot to eat at that resembles the interior of a Mexico/Juarez home that is beautifully decorated, clean, and organized. Entrance is hidden around the back next to the dirt lot you need to park at. Good quality ingredients with cooks that know what they're doing. Brisket was tender and juicy on the nachos. I asked for soft scramble on my eggs and medium rare on my burger, and both requests were cooked perfectly. My only complaint is that they could've cooked the potatoes more and maybe offered fries on their menu instead of just diced potatoes. Mayo may seems to be homemade as it's not your standard thin yellow spread but a thick white one with much less eggy taste (very mild in flavor). Mazapan latte was not overly sweet and gave the coffee a sweet nutty flavor. The French toast was perfectly made and paired well with the fruit and sweet sauce they provided.Parking: Dirt lot next to location entrance“

“Not bad for the neighborhood cocina! decent breakfast options. I would order the machaca again. The machaca burrito comes with beans and eggs inside. I could probably eat two of them at once, but it went well alongside the chilaquiles rojos. They have a light green homemade salsa that is pretty spicy and also delicious. I would recommend the coffee, as it had a light cinnamon taste to it (yum). Powerades and bottles teas, etc are also sold here.I'll probably return to try their lunch foods at some point.“

“I saw this place while visiting the mission. The sign outside said, "Gorditas Sold Here" I am a gordita lover so I had to try them. I was pleasantly surprised. These tasted like my grandma's and almost made me feel like that moment on that Disney movie Rattatoue. The chile rojo gorditas were awesome. The queso fundido with green chile, chorizo, and mushrooms was the best I have had anywhere I been. I recommend you come and try this little gem. Just don't get it with the rice and beans so you can finish all three gorditas. ?“

“My family and I went to the location on George Dieter. Overall the service was horrible and breakfast. Waited online and they referred us to sit outside. During the time it was cold and breezy which made it uncomfortable for my daughter who is 7. It was only a family of 3 but the hostess was sitting people of 2 on a 4 chair sitting. We should have known it was going to be bad. Received our breakfast and I ordered the All-American Scramble, a horrible breakfast, it was cold and the fruit cocktail was water down with egg in it, no butter for my toast, and the toast wasn't toast it was stale. Same with my husband's order. The area was dirty over the capacity and the restroom stalls for the gentleman were not working. Overall the experience was horrible and very unpleasant. The sitting area was dirty and not cleaned properly. Not going to Corner Baker again.“
