I was very pleasantly surprised at the variety, the presentation and the quality of the food here. The chef even came to the table and introduced herself. She was asking if we were pleased with her food and also asked if we had any suggestions or comments. For me, this was highly unusual ?
This is a common go to place for Texas State University students when it comes to a good lunch in a cheap price. they offer buffet menu if you pay $10 entering the Dining. they have wide variety of food including vegan menus and very little meat items but there are some. you can take any dessert or cold or hot beverage here after you were in. the atmosphere is very friendly for any students and it is basically self service. Plays music too loud like Harris does. Food is okay, but Harris has a better balance with more sweets and generally better food. There’s like 2 outlet sockets in the dining area, and they’re 2 prong and in inconvenient spots.Only thing saving it is that it might have slightly better food than Harris on weekends, but both have terrible food on the weekends.
