I do deliveries. It was the last order before Pappa John's closed for Christmas. The customer ordered what looked like cheese melts from Pizza Hut. Making businesses related small talk I say, "Running competition for Pizza Hut cheese melts, huh.". No answer. So I try to order after work. Pizza there is great and I prefer it over anywhere in San Marcos but I have had customer service issues the last few times I ordered. First time they said it would take 45 minutes and didn't arrive until 2 hours later. Last time was the worst, I placed an order for delivery at 10:40 and no one showed. Luckily I called the morning after to see if I could get a refund or have it delivered and they delivered it no problem.

Not one to rate papa John’s pizza but I’d like to give a shout out to this one. While it’s unnerving to arrive for your take out and see that they are way behind on order fulfillment they still managed to stay focused and get everyone handled. Not sure what happened the day I was there but I don’t see how you can be successful with three employees working at rush hour. Sure that wasn’t their plan so I’m gonna be constrictive here.
