“My husband and I had Brunch at The Backyard for the second time recently and it once again did not disappoint. We have definitely made it our new spot! The service is sooo kind and friendly. The food is SOOO amazing. The drinks are fresh and well sized. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owners Chris & Shelby on our first visit. They are definitely what you look for in an establishment. I highly recommend Sunday funday brunch here! Even if you brunch with the family. Great spot! Great people!“

“Over the past year and a half, my friends and I have gone to Cabo at least a couple of times a month. It's our go-to for holidays, birthdays, and perfect for enjoying a sunny day by the lake! The food has always been amazing, the drinks are tasty, and both the bar service and waitstaff are fantastic! Try the steaks on Thursday nights- they're always cooked just right, and the mac and cheese is sooooo good! 😋 (I'm low key obsessed with mac and cheese, and will totally judge a place by it! 🤣)“

“Despite a terrible experience I had at this restaurant from a very horrible waitress with a nasty attitude, the manager, Charlie Bowie really stepped in and took the correct approach necessary to resolve this issue for me and took it in consideration that something like this would never happen again. Based on my conversation with him, he really values customer service. Which makes me want to go back and eat there again in the near future. This is exactly the kind of mindset every managers and business owners should portray and I comment Topwater Grill to have this kind of management. Thanks so much! “I love their beers and their food but unfortunately went there tonight and found out their kitchen closes at 9. They didn't tell us this even though we were sitting there looking at menus. The kitchen used to be open until 11 so it's weird that it now closes at 9 especially when they are open until 12. Makes it hard for us to visit here in the future because we both work late and like to eat while drinking to unwind from the week. We decided to close out and leave to go to another place that does serve both later than 9. When we asked if they would ever be open later again, their bartender basically told us we would have to complain to management and if enough people did they might start to re open the kitchen later again which is weird that your customers have to complain just to have you revert decisions or that you wouldn't tell paying customers the kitchen was closing so they could order before cut off.“

“I have seen four bad reviews.I think they must be talking about another place.We started going there a little over two years ago.We eat there at least once a week,sometimes twice and not on ce was there a bad meal.They have had a little trouble with Chefs as the one who had been there a long time,who.drove from Galveston every daY, left early this year He was great.The other Chef who came was ok but not successful and did not last long and I do not know if they have another permanent Chef or if the Chef's assistants are doing it at the moment.Whatever the food is always good and plenty and they have 22 beers on drought and offers on drin ks and food every day.Food is served until 10pm every night except Fri and SaT when it is 11pm aNd they are open until midnight every day except Fri and SsturdaY when it is 1am.The staff are great and the Customers are great. We have made at least 20good friends and I mean Good friends who are now close friends ,since going there.If you want grest food,great.drinks,meet nice people,this is the place.I always saY there is always an ear that will.listen and someone to laugh with.I do not understand the bad reviews of whic h I saw only four going bac to20 21.This is NOT this place.“

“I love this coffee shop! I love that you can walk up and order from the outside or go through the drive-thru. I love that you can have energy drinks here as well as coffee and there's different choices of what you want on top of your coffee or add-ins for your energy drink. I love that they give you little incentives to come by like temporary tattoos on Halloween or a random rubber ducky. And their coffee although a little sweet for me is incredibly delicious! The staff at this one is always phenomenal!“

“We were driving by Kemah and decided to stop by for a beer. We walked around the various bars in the area, and most of them were very empty, probably because it was still early (around 630p) on a Saturday night. But when we walked past this place, it was buzzing. There were 3 or 4 small groups in their outdoor terrace, and you could feel the energy. Music was playing but not getting much in the way of conversation, so it was a nice atmosphere. We went inside to grab a beer. The bartender was busy, and when we asked about their IPA beers, she said we should look at the board. The electronic beer menu was flipping fast, so I could not quite go through one page before it got changed. We saw one we wanted to try, but after she walked back to the tap, she returned and let us know they were out. We finally got one we liked after a second try. We then walked out to the patio where the atmosphere was a bit more fun.

Of the places in the three blocks we walked, this seemed the most fun. If it was not for the electronic beer menu changing on me, I would give it 5 stars.“
