This may seem like a small Chinese restaurant, but they know what they're doing here and you can taste their love of labor in them. “I usally get the sweet n sour chicken but wanted to try the beef n brocolli. I ask the waiter ifbit has water chestnut because i dont like it stir fried in my food. AND he described the beef n brocolli as tender beef in a savory sweet gravy with fresh carrots and brocolli and he sold me but the actual plate amazing. Lunch specials 12 bucks with a soup and egg roll. Also both delicious.

I ordered cashew chicken and the plate was over 50% celery(no joke) and the fried rice wasnt more than a beige tinted white rice that had no flavor. “Looking for new chinese restaurant after our old changed chefs, the sezechuan pork was good with a mix of vegies all in large slices, the sweet and sour pork came in a large portion and was also good with a large sauce dish. All meals are served in a takeout container and lunch menu comes with just white or fried rice. The restaurant was doing a lot of takeout early afternoon and the 6 tables and bar like seating were empty- making it quiet and good for conversation.“

With covid, we haven't eaten in since BUT we have ordered takeout MANY times. My son totally turned his nose up to it when we pulled into the parking lot the first time and I had to convince him it was worth it. It's small inside too but I'm telling you that this team excels at table Tetris and rearranges that place so quickly. It's nicely decorated and really feels like a mom and pop type place. Again..... Reservations are a must!! I saw a ton of people turned away for not having a reservation. Now for the food... The Bucatini Florentine is my favorite but my son and husband swear my the Chicken Alfredo which I've tried myself as well and it's amazing. I remember them saying they didn't know it could even taste that good. Is it healthy.... Ugh... Probably not. The lasagna is amazing as well but be warned I know it sells out quite often so make your reservation early if you want that. I had the Bucatini con Salsiccia last night that I personally wouldn't recommend but everyone's tastes are different (if you love onion it totally for you) so I won't hold that against them. Still my favorite restaurant in SA for Italian... Heck probably my favorite place no matter the cuisine type. I recommend it to everyone in the hopes that maybe they become so busy that one day the open a place on west side!! Helotes maybe?!?!“

“I picked up lunch from Golden Wok in the Shell gas station on Eisenhower Rd & Midcrown Dr. I should have called it in but I didn’t. Ordered the sweet n sour pork and lemon chicken with steamed rice. Also ordered the chicken Lo Mein, All plates were made fresh and tasted great. Good portions as well, and those were the lunch plates, the dinner plates are bigger. They have a couple of tables to eat at but they were piled with their kitchen stock. I’d order from there again.“

“I did not go to Panda Express because the toilets were staging a full rebellion. Nothing says authentic dining adventure like plumbing drama before the orange chicken.

From what I saw through the window, the food looked ready for greatness while the restroom looked ready for a plumber with battle experience. The smell outside was doing its own interpretation of “Kung Pao.”

“The food is good but they STILL don’t have any heat. Went there a while back and thought no heat was a minor set back and repairs would be made. Its a few months later and they haven’t had it fixed. Won’t go back til summer. The food was served hot but was barely room temp just moments later because it was so cold in the restaurant. Not good.“
