“Visited Dave Zimkowski’s Fork & Bowl Bistro for a meal today, and loved every bit(e) of it! Make the extra effort to find and eat at this place and you will not be disappointed. The service was excellent and the food was delicious! I had the Turkey Bacon Cheddar sandwich on sourdough and my wife had the Cauliflower Rice Bowl with chicken. We also started off with the humus and an extra savory and sweet tomato soup — amazing! Needless to say, we happily rolled out of there with big smiles on our faces! We will absolutely be back and recommend it to all our friends. Highly recommend!!!“

“The first time I ate at Burger Boy was in 1984. My sisters worked at the original store off of Fredericksburg Rd. in San Antonio, Texas. When they reopened in San Antonio, Texas, it brought back tasty memories ? The Burger ? are cooked perfectly. The crinkle fries ? have the perfect texture. The icon chef ?? on the sign still remains the same. He never ages ? I think he would make a really cute Zuru Real Miniature Fast Food Brands Collection Toy ? I'm 60 and would enjoy collecting them. ?“

“My first visit here, and I ordered the lamb gyro. The staff was super friendly. My order was prepared fresh, and the fries were made to order. I found the lamb to be tender and very tasty. The fries were served hot and crispy with the perfect amount of season. The restaurant had nice decor. Really good first visit.“

“Delicious! I'll be back! I never heard of this place but So while Discount Tires was working on mounting my tires, they recommended this place. I ordered the Brussel Sprout Caesar salad / adding blackened chicken & avocado. Generous portion in a bowl. The Brussel sprouts was so buttery and crunchy. Blackened chicken was not overly salty. And! I sat at a table close to the wall and they had outlets! I connected my iPhone and did a little remote work while I waited for my car and had lunch. Really nice vibe here. Employees were very nice too.“

“The food was good, not great. Burgers are pretty good and huge! Fries are meh. Just basic fries. No flavor and greasy. The margaritas were weak.Other than that, we enjoyed our experience. The staff were very nice, friendly, and helpful, and the courtyard is nice and cozy.“

“I'm from an area that doesn't have Shake Shacks but had to try it based on my love of the movie 'Something Borrowed.' So glad I tried the Avocado bacon burger! It's been a must-visit each time I visit San Antonio. Chose this location hoping to view the eclipse. At least the burger/fries were great!“

“The Hamburger battle continues. Mind you, this is not your gourmet burger spot, that being said......As far as fast food burgers, this is without a doubt my favorite. Texans will tell you that Wataburger is better. Honestly, they are not bad. What Wataburger has over In-N-Out is their selection. However, when it comes to the simple plain burger or cheeseburger, absolutely no doubt. Not even close In-N-Out is far above. Yes living in California for 11 years has skewed my opinion. The taste is far above any other fast food burger!!!!“

“A very clean establishment.Ordered the bacon deluxe cheeseburger combo, order of curds, and a chocolate custard with espresso. The buttery burger is delicious but greasy. The bacon is flavorful but doesn't overwhelm the burger taste. The size is good.Fries are crinkle. Mine were a bit too salty. They will redo if you ask but I didn't care to because the burger was big enough to fill me up.The frozen custard is a perfect combo of melted like a shake with decent amounts of spoon scouping custard. The espresso was a fabulous touch. The cheese curds are addicting! We were there an hour before closing and everything was fresh and hot.So overall, just like my heart shaped cheese curd, I concur... love this place.“

“First time coming to a Willie’s and it was very nice! Some of the food seemed a bit bland for my taste (I’m use to overly seasoned Louisiana Cajun boil) but this place is real nice! The loaded fries are super good and the sides are great, fried pickles were my favorite started and I tried the shrimp taco while my wife had the ribeye taco! The volume level was surprisingly nice, it wasn’t overly loud but still had that bar vibe to it. My wife and mom don’t like really loud restaurants but they both made comments on how nice it was to be in there!“

“Great atmosphere, good food and drinks! Staff was very attentive and friendly eventhough we got there an hour before closing and were there a few minutes past closing time. I got two vanilla thrillers and a 50's style jalapeno bacon cheese burger plus an order of chips and salsa and the total came up to about 44 dollars before tip. It was a little pricey but I didn't mind considering the location. I love that they have their own free parking lot for customers so it saves time.Parking: There were numerous parking spots available“

“I tried this place yesterday for lunch. As soon as you come in it smells really good, you can see their rotating grill from the counter. I had their #2 Classic with cheese, the fries or onion rings and drink are separate. I tried their bestia sauce and it was pretty good it does have a kick but I loved with my onion rings and on the burger! The chile guero is grilled and stuffed with cheese it was really good too.“

“What a burger and fries used to be: P. Terry's has that old-fashioned aesthetic, but I'd want to call it "classic" more than anything else. They do it right from the kitchen to the tabletop, with nothing but freshness. So, already walking in, the place is still but lively with Bon Jovi and Queen over the speakers. The people behind the counter get a lot more traffic through the drive-through, so I recommend going through there if you want some quicker service. Me, though? I wanted to soak in that ambiance. But I ordered something basic with a little treat- A Cheeseburger with fries and a Double Chocolate shake. When they wrote down "we only use fresh ingredients," they weren't lying. It was F-R-E-S-H.Highly recommend this chain if you find them. The food is genuine, and the vibe is immaculate.“

“Great place to go. You can feed one to a family of four. Not much to choose from which makes it easier. There are burgers and fries for the kids but the name of the place is what you go for. My go to is the meal for two people with half a chicken, beef fajitas half a pound, and a sausage. Yum! Along with it is a side of charro beans, rice, and corn tortillas. I’m not a drinker so for those looking for a beer and dinner this is not the place for it. Family friendly. They do have two locations on Culebra, the newer place is less busy. Must check it out. I think the food is moderately priced. The meal for two, I pay $30 before tip.I’ll post a pic if I find one. I forgot to take one when I was there for dinner 7/25/23.Kid-friendliness: High chairs and noise is welcome.Parking: If it’s busy remember there is another location maybe six blocks down the road on Culebra and Colorado.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy accessible parking and entrance.“

“This business makes an amazing burger. We wanted to have a burger for lunch today but nothing really just screamed “wow”. Google search landed us on the Bunz Handcrafted Burgers. These burgers did not disappoint. This burger definitely had us screaming “WOW”! Fresh, juicy meat. Flavors on the burger mended very well. The meat is actually seasoned instead of the normally unseasoned hamburger patty. 10 out 10 for this burger. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a good burger to enjoy!!!“

“Who doesn’t love a big sandwich especially with crispy fried breaded chicken!Their regular sandwiches are huge and definitely shareable but even their sliders are huge. So bang for buck they hit the mark. The K Pop is something outside the box that works well. My favorite for sure.Their burgers are amazing too. The Pan Dan is probably one of the best burgers in the city. It’s “krazy” that a chicken joint does a burger this good lol.“

“Amazing first experience. We went to Cheesy Jane's looking for a place that had the best milkshakes in San Antonio, and after we saw online a review by another customer about Cheesy Jane's having the be milkshakes we knew we had to try it for ourselves!Needless to say, we were not disappointed! Not only were the milkshakes delicious, but they also had a big variety of flavors (including malts). My youngest kid had a choco-banana milkshake and the oldest an Oreo milkshake. They absolutely loved it. We also had the opportunity to try their delicious food. Everything we ordered was very tasty and warm. I personally loved their breakfast tacos on their brunch menu. The staff were very friendly since the moment we walked in, they welcomed us with smiles. Our waitress was very attentive to care for us while we were there, and the owner (or manager) made sure to check on us twice; she also noticed me eating the tacos and offered me some Salsa to go with it! Outstanding to be so caring about your customers.I can't forget to compliment their gorgeous aesthetic. I am obsessed with Diners, and it was satisfying to be surrounded by that vintage looking theme. Well done!We will definitely be coming back.Parking: The parking lot it is a bit challenging. Though we got there pretty early, and personally, we did not have any issues. But there were about 6 spots? Could be more or less. Again, it is not such a big issue, but it is definitely worth keeping in mind.Kid-friendliness: Family friendly diner in general. It's a great spot to come with your kids. They have booster chairs and the staff are very friendly. They also have a kids' menu, that comes with crayons for them to color.“

“Teddy B's burgers might appear a little pricey but when you get your burger you'll understand the price matches the quality and quantity of the food. Absolutely amazing avocado burger however I took away one star because the side order of cucumber slices that I got instead of the french fries were EH to say the least. I gave atmosphere one star for the simple fact that the music was so loud I could not even talk to my husband without yelling and we were sitting next to each other. That is beyond annoying and definitely prevented me from wanting to stay and dine in so we took our food to go. Listen to your music as loud as you want but please please please turn it down when customers come in. We dine in because we're seeking a peaceful place to eat and not everybody likes the same music. Had it not been for that I would have given the atmosphere five stars.“

“We stopped in today to eat an early dinner. It was our first time visiting. We did miss the turn to get in the parking lot because it wasn't a stand-out building or sign. However, we turned around and made a right into the parking lot. It is a nice relaxing place with a lot of old-fashioned soda signs and decor. It appears to be a two story dining area inside, but we didn't go upstairs. I could see authentic saddles and signs displaying an old-fashioned tex-mex style/burger diner. When you come in, you go up to the counter to order your food and get a ticket number that's called when it's ready. The young lady at the counter was super friendly, had a beautiful smile, and was professional. We got our self-serve drinks and found a table. It wasn't long for our food to be cooked. It was maybe 15 ish minutes or so. The food was hot, fresh and delicious! I was very impressed and the portions were very generous. I had the chili burger combo with steak fries. My son had the bacon cheese burger combo, and my husband had a strawberry shake. My burger was cooked perfect and juicy. The chili was mild and not too spicy. I loved it! My son is young, and so his burger was plain and dry. He had the meats and bun. He said his burger tasted great, but he was not fond of the bacon. He said it melted in his mouth and tasted smokey. I was a but confused because I tasted his bacon, and it was also very delicious and crunchy. He likes his bacon a little chewy, lol. My husband said his shake was good but not $4 good, if that makes sense. It looked tasty, but I didn't taste it. The restaurant was very clean. Oh, they have a huge, like 12-foot skeleton near the counter that helps greet you when you order. My son gave him a high five. Overall, I highly recommend eating here, and we will definitely come again. Unfortunately, I didn't think to take any pics. I will try to remember next time.Parking: They had some handicapped parking by the front door. The parking lot extends around to the back of the building.Kid-friendliness: It seemed like a relaxed environment. I would have felt comfortable bringing my boys when they were little to eat here. They have tables and booths.Wheelchair accessibility: I know the front walkway to the door was smooth without a curb. They have tables and booths for seating, which could accommodate someone in a wheelchair or walker. I didn't visit the restroom so I can't say much there. I'm sure it would be handicapped accessible though.“

“I. Love. Local. Nice outdoor seating. Accommodated my request to be seating outside. Soon as a table opened they placed us. Thankful. We weren't that hungry, but wanted to get out a bit, so shared a 1/3 lb cheeseburger and sweet potato fry. Burger was nice, bun hot and soft, and came out pretty quickly. Left satisfied. “We stopped at this little “dive” bar to end our night while in San Antonio to attend our son’s graduation from Airforce BMT. We just planned on a beer and something little to pick on so we ordered a HALF order or a mess fries with jerk chicken … let me tell you, I’d be nervous to see a full order! There was more than enough to share between my husband and myself! And sooooo yummy!!! The bartender was sweet and quick with service. “One of my favorite casual burger spots in town. No frills, relaxed atmosphere with tasty burgers and lots of options. Our favorites are the mushroom Swiss burger, the Avocado bacon cheeseburger, jalapeno cheeseburger, and their old fashioned hamburger. I like ordering their sweet potato French fries and fried mushrooms as a side. I love that Babe's offers avocado as a topping. Their spicy fried chicken sandwich is huge and SO good. One of my faves. I also really like that I can order a beer (large selection from their cooler) to have with my burger! I don't recommend the pizza here, however. “I didn't eat there. I love Whataburger, but I was there because I had a flat on 1604 East Access Road, and pulled in. I am a 74 year old DoorDash driver, and had my tire tools, but Whataburger employee Rey came over with an impact wrench, and took charge. He didn't have to, but Whataburger service shined! Thanks, Rey.“
