“We had the Calamari. It was very tender. I had shrimp lo mein and he had spicy scallops with vegetables. Both were delicious and generous portions!“

“One of the most authentic Chinese restaurants I’ve ever been to in the greater Houston area. The staff was very friendly, and our family loved the ambiance and the cozy vibes. Food was flavorful and they set themselves apart as a unique staple of Chinese cuisine in the north Houston area. 😊“

“China Bridge has the best Chicken fried rice,
Orange chicken, sweet and sour chicken or pork. Really I haven't tried anything here that I don't like. Most people order take out. So the restaurant is usually quite bit don't let that fool you. Happy to support this local business.“

“We were craving egg rolls and this place delivered! It is a family owned establishment that has a coziness. The host was so sweet. The egg rolls were delicious and they make the spicy mustard in house. It was so good and my sinuses are clear! 😂 I look forward to coming back.“

“The wife and I took a lunch break and decided on Chinese. My dearly departed neighbor used to live off this place when she was alive and recommended it to me. After arriving wifey ordered an app. Crab Rangoon is her go to tizer. They were good, especially dipping them in Duck sauce. Then came the main courses. Me, Triple Delight and wifey countered with her favorite, Sesame Chicken with fried rice. Her Sesame Chicken is delicious. Succulent and tender smothered in that msg like sauce. My Triple Delight was not great but good enough. Nancy our server is a hoot so make sure to sit in her section. She's a Triple Delight in her own right 😜. There you have it folks. Egg drop soup on point. Exit, stage right. Sayonara!!!“

“This Chinese takeout spot has been our go-to for years! Whenever we’re craving something delicious and comforting, this is the first place that comes to mind. Their General Tso’s Chicken is absolutely amazing — crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and coated in a rich, slightly spicy sauce that’s incredibly addictive.
Service is always fast and reliable. Orders are prepared quickly, always hot and fresh when delivered, and the packaging is neat and secure. The staff is friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better.
A true neighborhood gem that’s earned our loyalty with great food and great service. Five stars all the way!“

“Had a not so great experience when ordering through uber eats. I called in to let them know about items missing in my order and spoke to Maggie who was a “Hospital lead” (which I’m sure is just another word for hostess). She was extremely rude and unapologetic. Especially when the issue was their fault. However, the manager Gilbert made up for her incompetence. He had great customer service and did a great job to make things right and calm me down after my blood pressure went up talking to the “hospitality lead. ““

“Ordered as a takeout order. Once I arrived hostess was very nice and welcome me. She asked if I was there to pickup the to go order. I said yes and paid for my meal. She cautioned me the bottom of the bag was hot. I was very happy with the quick and friendly service. Will go back and this time as a dine in customer.“

“Every Christmas we spend time with another family and celebrate with a Chinese dinner. I thank the folks for serving on a day where most restaurants are closed. Great folks, incredible food, super generous and beyond kind. Thank you Richard Morehouse“

“THE KINDEST WOMAN HELPED ME TONIGHT!!!! I accidentally ordered my take out order to the branch in Katy and she immediately called them and cancelled my order for me and went to make my order for me as quickly as she could. It was completely my mistake but she acted as if it were her own with how helpful and genuinely caring she was. She was so so sweet and deserves the world!“

“This is a hidden gem!
Great food from a great team of people!
Big menu, big portions, and decent prices! Found out about this place 3 years ago and it’s my go to for great Chinese food! Everybody I’ve brought to this place has loved it!“

“Food was great! I liked the portion sizes. I ordered the Kung Pao Beef with white rice from the lunch menu. It also came with a egg roll and wonton soup. For my beverage I got a coconut milk tea it was good but will probably pick something else next time. It was empty when my friend and I arrived so the waiter gave us all their attention. Overall good experience!“

“Best Chinese food around. Drive 30 minutes just to eat here. Used to frequent Chef Chan’s in Grogan’s mill, but since they shut down we had to find a new spot. Jade gives the quality and taste of Chef Chan’s before they changed cooks and will leave you asking for more.“

“Best Chinese food in town! Their lunch special is the best value (quality and price) in town as well. Glad they opened one up on the Northside. I used to go to the original one by University of Houston almost 20 years ago. Apparently that chef is now here! Their fried tofu in garlic sauce, vegetable chop chop, and hunan chicken are of my favs here!“

“This place has good food- the general quality you get at a Chinese restaurant in this area. However, I may be less enthusiastic than others because it is always almost full of people. We never have to wait- but it's never really empty, so others must like it a lot.“

“If you grew up in The Woodlands like I did (1983 - present), you definitely know Chef Chan's is the best Chinese food around. When we have family come visit from other states, they always request we "order Chinese food from that one place" while they're in town. The Grogan's Mill Shopping Center used to be its home back in the day, but long story short, it's now at the Indian Springs Shopping Center where Lake Woodlands and Woodlands Pkwy intersect. THIS IS THE ORIGINAL "OG" CHEF CHAN'S!!! Give them all your money, and tell them that Anthony says, "Hi!" (I swear my kid's addiction to this place is legendary) ❤️ Favorites: Orange Chicken Beef & Broccoli Wonton Soup Mu Shu Pork Roasted Pork Fried Rice Chicken Lo Mein Egg Rolls Crab Rangoons“

“The food is fresh, flavorful and the portions are big. The woman who runs the place is crass, ungrateful and seems miserable. I will likely order again but I highly recommend the owner find a way to end her misery and learn how to express her gratitude for repeat customers who tip her.“

“Review Update- I still love this place. Very friendly, food is incredible. I hate to tell everyone about them because I love them, and don’t want them to be too busy for me, but the only way to make sure they stick around is to make sure they stay busy!
There has not been a single time where the food was not fantastic. Give them a go!!
After our last go to let us down for the 2nd time, we searched for a change. I can say we found our new Chinese go to. Food is very flavorful, absolutely the best fried rice I’ve had. Was all a hit and no leftovers. Thank you for the great meal at a decent price. Don’t pass up on this little gem.“

“It was a good stop for lunch... great service for sure too! I haven't been to a buffet in several years so I thought why not... the salad bar, fresh fruits & desserts were sure on display, looking fresh & delicious, very clean too!
There was a variety of chicken dishes, then the beef pepper steak, some fish dishes & sushi too... my favorite is sweet n sour pork & the pork riblets, but I didn't see either... so a few bites of the pepper steak, some General Tso's Chicken, fried rice & egg rolls were my lunch... I really enjoyed what they have, just had hoped for a wider variety... so even though I rated as 4 stars for the food, it's only because there wasn't any sweet n sour pork - everything was very good! It's easy enough to order one of my favorite dishes at another restaurant & even have it delivered to our home... it was a spur of the moment kinda stop, just noticed it as I was leaving another store in the area... good stuff for sure, so long as ya really like chicken... oh & while I didn't sample everything, there's a really nice variety! If you do buffets then you should enjoy what they have to offer! Great soups as well, nice hot n sour, especially when you add green onion & crunchies!“

“I spent $14 dollars on a plate, 1 vegetable roll and a star of cream cheese, everything I tried tasted good, highly recommended ?? cheap and filling well because the plate is curdled, the photo you see had already made it comfortable to the plate ?.“

“We got a family meal through the drive thru line and it went by pretty quickly. We ordered fried rice, noodles, orange chicken, bejing beef, honey walnut shrimp, and teriyaki chicken. Everything came in a neat little container. Service took about 15 mins for our food to be done, but wasn’t too bad. Would recommend 10/10“

“This is the best oriental restaurant by far in the Magnolia area. Delivery is fast and the food is always hot. When we are hungry for oriental food we do not think of another place, its always Mei-Wei. Thank you for always meeting our expectations. That is hard to find these days.“

“Used to come by this area more often and knew about this restaurant but never tried it. Today, we stopped by here for lunch. Had Mongolian Chicken and Sesame Chicken lunch specials. Food was very good and meals were a good value for our money. Pleasant atmosphere and good service. It was not that busy but the few customers there seemed like regulars. Also I don't know if there is a drive-thru, but I saw people driving through to pick up food from a side window. We want to come back.“

“I was in town for a short while and decided to try this place. First time was a success so I was convinced to have two more cracks at it. Unfortunately the second and third times were not up to my standards. Still I think it’s worth a try.
