This is one of my most favorite local places to dine at. The food is ALWAYS phenomenal, cooked with lots of fresh vegetables and savory main dishes. Chef Chabot and his team sure are amazing culinary talents. My son and I love going once a week. Miss Jennie is always so kind and attentive, we love her! Thank you Bistro 71 for all y’all do ❤️
Their food is amazing. It’s definitely my favorite place to eat in Bastrop County. The daily specials and salads of the week are always amazing. I invited three friends who had never eaten there to meet me for lunch a few weeks ago. Everyone ordered something different, and everyone gave their choice a rave review.
Monday mornings…I feel like a kid at Christmas waiting to see what John Chabot has lined up for this weeks menu at Bistro 71. My husband and I literally plan our week based on the specials of the day. The meals are creative, delicious, generous, nutritious without being pricey. We both highly recommend Bistro 71 located inside the Smithville Hospital.
